The Toyos are decent, but I'd never run them again. I've been thinking about 265/70-R17 on the stock wheels. The AT tires that do great in the rain are only a couple pounds heavier.

I thought you were in there somewhere. Every new development brings me closer, but the lead time keeps me watching. If it was only a couple months, I might be in trouble.

I hear you. A funny as it sounds, I'm not 100% searching for more power. We'll see what comes out of 1.05 though.

Yep. I really wasn't a fan of the initial mounting system and a couple other things and went a different direction.

I ended up going down the trailer route and that was a total disaster. Company ended up buying it back due to water leaks.

Now a year later I'm back at square one.

I should hopefully have my new setup in April if everything goes as planned.

Yep thats part of my issue. I talked to a lot people and by the time you add the camper and gear, you really need to do suspension for the added load. Then pretty soon my fuel economy ends up at 10-15 mpg and I might as well be driving a full size truck with a larger fuel tank, more space and more power.

Agree, I'd like more engine braking, specifically coasting down mountain passes. I can downshift to lower gears giving me 3K+ and RPMS will still creep up from there. I have to keep tapping the brakes.

    7K limit would be nice.

    You won't be sorry.

The accumulator mod is close to free and reversible if you don’t like it.... unless you machine the accumulator. 99.9% positive you won’t want to go back.

I’ve tried to keep it reasonable with the mods, I only buy used with the exception of a shift knob. Low mile used Pro shocks and OEM audio+.
Would like to find a set of grey TR4 pro wheels........ patience grasshopper

I have been toying with the idea of building an overland trailer with a RTT on top that can haul an ATV underneath @90yota built one and it looks pretty good.

Lol funny, because I have a great talent for screwing up how things are supposed to be done, but I also have an equally great talent for assessing my mistakes and then stubbornly not giving up until I've come up with an alternative solution that ends up working :notsure:

Not even kidding. My bumper's plastic chin piece has bolts drilled in it from when I installed my winch, due to some unfortunate lack of foresight on my part. Looks like tacks were put in but I made it look pretty. Bumper has zip ties on it like a 20 year old race car. But I always make sure it looks alright in the end lol

once the temps warm up here, I'll get the damn thing ripped out! I'll have a second vehicle in the near future so if it takes me a week it doesn't matter. actually if it takes me that long, I need to just give away my tools...
