i spent time dialing down the volume level on my exhaust. it flows like it's open but runs about the same volume level as the TRD catback, so I'm super happy with it. i may get restless at some point and do more for kicks.

so yeah i had the Budbuilt trac bar. all i can say is to read this and ask me any q's you may have: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/crazy-leak-from-the-rear-end-overnight.548948/

I find I get the best mileage when I cruise around 45-60 MPH. I can get 21 mpg in winter and 23 mpg in summer going back and fourth to work cruising at those speeds with minimal stop lights/traffic.

However, in stop and go traffic or putting along at low speeds AND/OR going 75-85 MPH on the interstate, my mileage will drop to 17-18 mpg.

Note: I'm on stock wheels and tires with no lift and running OVT 1.04A.

Man, can't say enough good things WRT the ADM. Every situation involving the clutch is just better.

Just bought my first Tacoma. 2018 pro MT. Been lurking TW for a while and it’s very expensive. OV kit is due to arrive any day, and after reading learned my life is incomplete without a delete kit, so it’s on the way as well.

I would love the 7k rev limit raise, as it would not make any real difference for the guys that don’t need it.
Love this thread, the main one is way to convoluted.

You’d have to be on 1.04R to upgrade to the pre-erom 1.05 and have a dongle.

Thanks. What I should have asked first....would there even be any benefit to 1.05 vs 1.04A? Heck I might be 1.04R. I installed the tune in early summer of 2018 and haven't looked at it since. June 11th my kit was purchased from OVT.

You're most likely 04A70 ECU. So currently there is no 1.05 for your ECU.

Engine braking is one of those innate festres a manual must have. I drove a 18 auto, and it "engine brakes" better than my manual does. Towing, off road and even driving mountain rounds engine braking is amazing to not smoke the brakes. I'd love to be able to come down off the mointains in 3/4th gear never touching has or brake. I just can't do it with this truck, it runs away

3/4 would be a dream - I've been in 1/2 trying to hold speed down some passes.... You basically just coast, there's really nothing there to slow you down, especially once you get past a 5% grade

    Tell you guys what..

If Ginger likes 1.05 91 right out of the box, I'll change my avatar to something even more un-manly that @Shellshock 's.
