I came here to OVTUNE for a solution to DFCO and REV HANG only to find that half your problems are in the throttle and the Atkinson’s.now with a more responsive throttle and the power moved lower in the revs the REV HANG has been reduced and no more dead spots.
    I strongly recommend this tune.

Loaded up 1.05 and drove 90 miles today. Very pleased. I could nitpik but this is the way my truck SHOULD HAVE come from Toyota. Thanks Mat, no one's doing a better job than you right now, nor are they likely to, worth every penny! More later. Cheers, Dave

No one is doing anything remotely close to what @OVTune is doing.

    It’s a no brainer.

    Anyone have any experience with:

91 version of 1.05b run on 93 fuel
    vs
93 version of 1.05b run on 93 fuel

Only tried 93 version with 93 fuel so far and it's been fantastic!

Hey guys. So it seems for some truck that are especially heavy due to mods, these individual / gear basis torque tables are not working ideally.
So, I've wrote a patch for the ECU to use our primary table for all gears, including nuetral instead.

Note** I do not think this is needed on all trucks. As the current throttle changes to 1.05B MT should already be plenty responsive for a majority of trucks out there. Just some trucks that have a lot of additional weight need an extra push from the tune.

Unfortunately I do not own a MT, so if there is anyone willing to try out patch and give us some feedback, please let me know.

We've expanded the table to be 28x30. This is a special patch, not standard.

Out of curiosity would this possibly be better for towing as well? My truck is nearly stock but do quite a bit of towing - was a dead fish on the early dongle release. Haven’t had a chance to try on this one.

Wait a minute, so response in every gear will be based on the same table?

Man, that would probably cure one of my pet peeves about this truck from day one until now - inconsistent throttle response that messes with rev matching (blip). Even on the current files, it's a crap shoot (although it's much much better than stock).

Mat, you're saying this is for heavy trucks - but this may well be the way ahead for all trucks.

@OVTune Count me in on the patch testing... The resident Fat Kid should like it.

I have about 300lbs of sliders, skids and recovery gear, plus only 32” tires, you guys think I should even bother with the patch?

My truck is all stock, but I would like to give this a try. 1.05b was so undriveable for me, I flashed back to 1.04a.
