I did say that I didnt recommend it if offroading by yourself. I was more conservative than reasonable I think. Especially with plug and play solution, I would recommend for anyone.

Adding DPDT switches to give actuator overrides would make it more reliable than stock (in my opinion)

    Uh huh... :)

A first gear that does something? A second gear I can actually roll through stops with? Some semblance of engine braking?

Are these tears of joy? or madness? or just the wind tearing at my ducts?

How accurate have folks found the voltage reading on the p5flash tool? It had my battery voltage at around 12V for some reason, which would be a bittersweet end to my day if my battery is going bad...

Nice! I'm glad that you are digging it.

Just wait until you realize that you can completely forget about the throttle and just drive and drive.

From what I have seen, USB can sometimes underreport voltage. That said, 12v is going to be normal when you are sitting with the ignition on and is what I see when flashing. ECUs will cut out in the low-10s.

You can check it with a multimeter on the battery posts.

Yeah just didn't want to dig through my packed up stuff to find the multimeter. That's good to know that 12V is normal for that situation. Was worried as I'm used to reading 12.4+ on a good battery, but have never tried reading through OBDII/USB.

I have an Italian bike, it lives out in the open.:rofl:

Torque will show the commanded and adapter voltages, since we have an ECU controlled regulator. Fusion can probably do the same.

I haven't gotten out of 2nd yet, but that's exactly how it started to feel. Finally a throttle that can accurately express my intent! Looking forward to putting it through the paces this summer.

I was lucky to already have the tactrix so could send in my reg info as soon as I ordered.

I'm running 87 base to start. Dry weight is approximately 5650 lb, but can push up to 6000 fully loaded. Even with base first is pretty ON from the get go and will take some getting used to compared to the wet noodle response from 04b13. Thankfully I don't even remember how bad 04b10 was.

I haven't done any highway driving yet or under full weight so can't tell how it'll do for me there, but my biggest issues were first and second and those feel great so far.

Will also be interested how break-in affects things after a few tanks.

No. Very different. Give them both a try to see what you like best.

So far I've tried the 87 FOB, 91 FOB, and the 87 base. The base seems to drive the smoothest, without any stumbling or surging going up hills in low gear & low RPM.

I’m at the dealership for regular maintenance and they told me there is a recall on my radar sensor. Something about moisture getting in the unit. They said they have to reflash the system after the repair.

Should I flash to stock prior to them doing the repair? Are they flashing some calibration missing from 1.05? If I flash back to 1.05 will it mess up the radar sensor?

    Anybody have any advice?
