    Hey , the man has his own Dyno and if a code change inspiration strikes in the wee hours of the morning, he can test it out in a smurf outfit and it would not bother me if it got some more low end torque . !

    What do you guys like more, 87 base or 87 performance tune?

    Just bought this. It's impossible to drive this truck in MT stock. The uneven power delivery makes the MT surge and stall like it's my first time drivin stick!!!

    What model year do you have? If 16 through most 18s, do the TSB tune (04B13 or 04A71). For OVT, MTs do not get the Performance tune, just Base and FOB. Put 2 or 3 tanks on each at each tune and octane to see what you like best.

    I tried FOB 87, FOB 91, and Base 87. I like Base the best for now, and all netted me the same 0.5mpg bump. I will test them again once 2.0 is dropped. I really want to be on FOB, but it was too much for city life in a stock Taco.

    The big torque just off idle. Folks drive like it is Sunday here all week long. So getting rolling for me was not smooth in traffic on the highway or town. A little less at the bottom would rock for me.

    OK - I just bit the bullet and ordered the kit. I am a newbie when it comes to this. I downloaded the flash manager, but get a VCRUNTIME140.dll error. In the instructions on the flash manager page it says I need to run a Windows C update if you get this error. When I click on the link, there are several files - which one do I need for Windows 7? Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 or one of these: vc_redist.x86.exe, vc_redist.x64.exe, or vc_redist.arm64.exe?
    Thanks for your help.

    Nevermind - I figured it out.
