Keep your 16s and 17s. Spend the cash to upgrade, do NOT trade up.... The TSS BS is going to be the death of many.

I agree. Radar cruise is dangerous on the highway as far as I am concerned. My rental Camry while I was in TX had it. I was on the highway, cruise set at 70 in the middle lane. There are two cars in the right lane 100' ahead of me and the car behind wants to pass (no issue). They pull into my lane, but are going maybe 2-3 mph slower than me. My car slowed down to 60 mph causing cars behind me to have to brake suddenly. As soon as I realized what was happening I mashed the gas and canceled CC. I made damn sure I used normal CC the rest of my time in that car.

I used it in Northern Missouri for fun. Wasn't bad, but man you gotta be awake when it decides to slow down. No way in hell is it worth the hassle though with all of the sensor recals and "you can't have an aftermarket grill because warranty blah blah blah" Bs. Turned the lane departure warning/drift feature all the way off and have the radar front sonar thing on the lowest setting.... Would rather get rid of it entirely. Miss my 17 Inferno SR5 (even though it's an "inferior" truck)

I'm hoping that one day my dad gives me his mint condition '87 Ford Bronco, Eddie Bauer edition. That truck would go to the grave with me. Future kids of mine can indeed fight over my Tacoma lol

None of us know what the actual numbers are, but I don't think this is true. My early production OR had plenty of driveability issues right off the lot, most of which have been addressed through Toyota's calibration update to 04B13 and of course OVtune. Yes, I bought the truck anyway and that's on me.

It's definitely not about crying for the sake of crying, and for the record, performance has always been secondary for me - driveability is my main concern.

I agree - If I want performance, I have other vehicles for that. It's the driveability, and for my truck, I did not have (or notice) the issues on my test dive.

Of course if I towed a lot, I might think otherwise. But then again, if I towed a lot, I probably would have bought a full size truck.

Does anyone have the mythical FBO test files for a 2018 MT they could hook me up with? I’m running the TSB update. Interested to try them. Thanks!

NVM, misread your username and thought you were someone else. Lol! Sorry I can't help.

Have you purchased the tune? The files will do you no good unless you have the license and hardware to flash it.
