    Just click the link and follow the prompts,I think his link might be the one with the scary license key page,don't sweat it it is safe. Make sure you have all the drivers and software loaded for the cable (if you have already tuned your truck these will be installed) and then open techstream,when you connect to the vehicle you select open port from the dropdown menu IIRc

    I wanted to say I am officially “Ovtuned” after many uncessful try’s and reading the instructions and watching videos. I finally was able to complete the tune!!! Thank you all for the kind responses and I downloaded the 87 base tune 1.05 and took it for a 30 mile drive and can tell a difference already:thumbsup: Wanted to try that out first and go from there:cheers:

    Ok absolutely true, it's not straight forward. It just isn't. There are little pieces missing here and there, but covered elsewhere. That doesn't mean impossible or even super tough. Just need unpressured time, an open and relaxed attitude, ability to step by step follow instructions and note exactly what you did (and what the response was).

    Turning off any antivirus stuff is very critical. One of the files looks like some very nasty PC virus and most AV software will be all over it. I DO think this is mentioned, and it's mentioned here multiple times to turn off AV.

    I'm not at my home office right now but I recall one one the instructions never mentioned installing the drivers. The video does I believe.

    There is no going past 04B13 WRT OEM calibrations on 16/17 M/T.

    It's the latest calibration for those years.

    04A70, 04A71, 04B40, 04B41 do not apply to 16/17.

    AFAIK Techstream wouldn't let you apply the wrong .CUW file anyway.

    Print Steps 1-3. Most importantly the last section 3. Watch the video very closely. Read the steps write notes on them. Watch the video again and write notes on them. You will learn a lot and be ready for step 3.

    It won’t. When I updated my truck I forgot which TSB file it was so I just clicked all of them I had until one said it was compatible lol

    I know you re trying to be helpful but he is trying to load techstream to update his factory settings with the factory TSB. The video you posted is for loading the OVTune files...it will help him get the drivers/software loaded to use his tactrix cable though.

    Catted or catless? Any performance difference? Stock Y Pipe? How does it sound compared to stock? Sorry for the questions, but I've been toying with this idea for a while and haven't seen any postings from people with them installed yet.

    Catless with the URD cat delete Y pipe and a flowmaster dual outlet with a 18" spiral louvered glasspack as a resonator in front of the muffler. Butt dyno says noticeable improvement and I don't have the dedicated dump tube tune for 04B13 yet @OVTune
