ok. what about buzzing & rattling from the cats? did you get a report about it? I'm not sure he went so far but that's another concern i have. i have several pm's showing concern and asking q's before opening a ticket with you, so there are questions on my end.

Mat, i want to install these things but i will need a CEL-free 91oct tune in hand or ill need to return the tubes. please understand that I'm on 93 now, and if i head to a 91 only region i will be dependent on you providing me a non-detonating no-CEL file. i know what's up with OV growth now, but on my end it doesn't matter, that's your business. i just need what I've paid for. i hope you're reading this right. I'm not some immature 20 something but am working for resolution with you.

I have had one report of that, and it's from the same person. The same person who also told me that his exhaust physically is moving around with load. So, I really think there is other issues at play with his setup. If his exhaust is physically wiggling around..then there is a problem.

I have had these dump tubes on and off my truck 10+ times and they should never be wiggling around.

CEL free tune on any octane is absolutely doable.

There isn't another MT release until final of 2.0.

However our current version of beta will be posted.

This is good news and please accept my apology for the snarky post above. Like St.Germain said we are all a little frustrated after the long wait for the tubes and then no tunes to support them after receiving them...

Will the current versions of BETA include tunes for catless and catted tubes for all octanes?

@OVTune any info on releasing anything for the 2020 model? Just picked up our 2020 manual and can’t wait to order.

That is going to be a tough nut to crack as several areas of the country have also switched to winter blend fuels in the time since the files dropped...

It coincided with me installing 2.0 beta and then the dump tubes two weeks later, my mileage is down about 2.mpg from before...

Before that all versions of the tune in general have always improved my mpg's

For me, the original Beta (109967) from July gave me my best MPGs ever. About 22. I was seeing between 22 and 24 on my commutes. After a few tanks it wavered a bit for an unknown reason, but it seemed to really thrive on long drives.

The last Beta (21175) felt awesome, but MPGs were weird for me. Then with the combo of new Wildpeaks along with a 2% error there, colder weather, the Beta, and winter blend, I was confused as fuck and down 10% on one tank and looking like 20% on the next. I needed to eliminate variables, so I'm back on FOB 87 and am getting about 20.5 or so. Considering the tires and winter blend, I'm down only 1mpg from my last try of FOB. That, I am happy with.

So, I suppose I am looking forward to FOB in the full release of 2.0?

    yes
I don't have 2020 ecu data yet. Need someone to dump the ecus data with our kit, or order one when available.

Does anyone else notice a considerable torque loss and lower end RPM hesitations when the A/C is on? It cycles every 5-10 seconds and RPM fluctuates anywhere from 200-500rpm at a dead stop, which seems very excessive to me. Also, the transmission feels super clunky until the ECU calibrates & the transmissions warmed up. I generally understand there will be performance loss when the A/C is engaged and I've tried a few things to "help" mitigate - OVTune, CAI, MBRP cat back single exhaust. However, the A/C system continues to be such a drag on this truck. With the A/C turned off, the truck performance is very smooth and has linear power throughout.

    Any thoughts, tips, or tricks?

One thing to note - when I turn off traction control it seems to increase torque and responsiveness...this might be placebo

Not sure what you want to hear.. But, for what it's worth, every MT I have ever driven has been dragged down running the a/c compressor. Hell I feel the damn thing clunk when idling in this truck!

Just the one that you need. NBD.

91 octane though. That is tempting.

    Still no 04B40 :(

On a happier note I'm in a region with 94 for a few days, I'm gonna be able to test FOB93 :burnrubber:

I have changed 2 things on my truck, the exhaust and the tune and Im not sure which is the culprit but Im getting like 12 to 14mpgs for the first 10 miles of my commute and it bumps up to 16mpg by the end of my 17mile commute. Im used to seeing 460 miles on 25gallons but this last tank Im at 300 miles and its on the last quarter. The damn CEL came back after I cleared it 1500 miles ago, gonna check to see if its due to low catalytic converter efficiency again. I have a 32 gallon tank so its not standard and the fuel gauge goes to 0 when I have consumed 25gallons so thats when I refill in case you’re wondering.
