Thanks Matt, that's good to know, I have a laptop now so that might be a solution.

So as I’m waiting patiently for FOB 2.0 to be released... I got to thinking. It says on the website 2.0 Final Patch release soon, around Christmas blah blah... when they say Final does that mean the final version of 2.0 or the Final tune version we’re ever gonna get for 3rd Gen trucks lol

HIGHLY doubt that, but maybe don't expect minor tweaks over the next 2-3 years. Unless some major breakthrough. Or bug. :crapstorm:

First off I don't know a damn thing about what ECU version I have or what factory calibration my stock tune is vs some of the TSB updates mentioned. My truck info is above.

That being said, I'm looking for a noticeable increase in torque at lower rpms. I'm talking everywhere below 3,000 rpms. I would (reluctantly) run premium fuel to achieve this if needed. Will I be happy with this tune or will I be disappointed?

I'd like to get as much feedback as possible from MT guys, preferably with newer trucks. I've already spent hours reading about OV tune, there's just too many pages to catch up 100%.

Same boat here, OVTune on order. Not sure which tune to flash.

I will tell you that I am currently running 93 Octane FOB tune for my truck through OVtune and I am extremely satisfied with it. I have 33's on my truck, so my torque and MPGs were really bad with my truck running at stock. I was averaging 15 mpgs on a tank usually and if I ran over 65mph on the highway that would drop to 12 or below.

With the tune, my truck has much more torque at low rpm. I can hold higher gears longer and not have to shift down as frequently on hills. My truck just floats down the road on flat ground as opposed to have to constantly be in the throttle. My mpgs have went back up to between 17-19, highway or city. AND with all this being said, OVtune is supposed to release FOB 2.0 sometime around Christmas. So if that update can somehow improve how my truck drives, I'll be blown away.

My truck is a 2018 Manual Transmission TRD OffRoad.
Again I have 33in tires and live in WV so I'm constantly going up and down hills.
OVtune ROCKS and, outside of re-gearing your truck for a couple thousand dollars, is the best thing you can do to increase low end torque and MPGs.

Only you can answer this. If $700 is a budget killer and you just don't need any more bottom grunt or acceleration or throttle response, then maybe you would be bummed. Other than that, for me the $ was 100% worth it.

Is there any updated info for us OFT handheld owners with a 2018. I have had it for a couple months now and haven’t been able to use it. I emailed the handheld company and did a zen desk awhile ago. Is there a way to get updates on the status of this?

I'm having a little trouble getting tech stream set up. The "NA" key is not working. Every time I try and do something it says I need enter a new key.

are you sure you generated the key for the right version (theres 2 versions listed)? Typed it correctly? Didn’t accidentally put extra characters?

@tonered you heard of anyone else having issues?

    I had some issues.
    1)Select the correct version.
2)Try a few of the generated codes

How do you know which version?
Is that the 1 or 2 you type to start?

No one has ever posted problems other than virus warnings.

    Maybe @lapoltba ?

    Good tips. Thanks!

We're definitely NA (North America). I can't remember the other step involved.

I will make screenshots later today or tomorrow. At a bar for MNF now.
