You can download the flash manager software to your laptop, install it and then email them your system ID number generated by the software. Later you will receive a reg file from OVTune via email to license your software, and your cable is shipped.

Watch the video on OVTune website.

From other posts, these will be Beta only for 2020s. 2020s will not get the full 2.0 this year.

Definitely lower fuel economy with 91 FOB.

My normal commute usually is 22mpg by the end.

With 91 FOB I got 19 mpg, winter blend is relevant here, but I think my state was already on winter blend before I started the tune.

i Guess I could try other tunes, but if 91 FOB is the best in terms of performance (without 93 octane), I don’t think want to sacrifice the fun factor for efficiency.

Fuel economy is one thing that's been pretty consistent with Mat's files in my experience. I usually get pretty close to the same values tuned as I do on OEM calibration.

Depending upon driving style and truck configuration, I've found that base files CAN give you a touch more efficiency.. probably due to Atkinson "mode" still being in play.

That difference (if any) is overshadowed by the improvements in low end power/response on a FOB file, and for the amount I drive in any given year (not a shit ton) it's a no brainer -FOB!

Before anyone jumps on my observations, one caveat - my truck is basically stock except for 265/70/17 Falkens. If you're heavy, well your experience will probably be quite different.

All I can say is once flashed, put it through multiple tanks before passing judgement on mpgs.

Is there a difference in feel between the bypass and the dremel or is it just preference?

They both accomplish the same thing so I would say preference, I also went the dremel route.

As mentioned, it was my preferred method this time around. It's ridiculously easy.

I mean, so easy that.... you know who.. couldn't screw it up :D

There is no discernible difference in feel between the two IMO.
