I haven't followed this thread long enough to know the back story here, what exactly was your issue? I loaded the 87 FOB a few weeks ago and I swear it doesn't feel the same now as when I first loaded it. The herky-jerky 2nd gear is back, although not as pronounced as stock tune, and the 3k dip is back, again not as pronounced.

All I can say is there is a massive update coming for all ECUs by the end of the month, so if 1.05 is not to your liking just go back to stock. My issues were stuttering and throttle lag which got worse over time.
    Hang in there :)

Did we ever figure out if the beta 2.0 tunes were able to get past this supposed re-learning of stock tune behavior?

Hopefully the coming update will fix your issues and the 2020 MT won't suffer the same experience (for selfish reasons, of course ).

Just remember my issues are not everone's issues. Most don't have problems on 1.05

I would be happy if I could get the original 1.05FOB 91 throttle response back. I don't seem to have the nasty issues but it is starting to do the 1-2 rev thing I have seen mentioned. I would be happy I guess if 2.0 took and held. Don't call it learning, call it drift from ideal..........

UGH! So I "updated" the OS on my MBA from Win7 to Win10 today and it changed my system ID.

    Support ticket sent.

I only did it because we were doing it to all of our Win7 machines at work.

The icing on the cake is, it's on the Bootcamp partition on my MacBook Air. LOL!

wanted to let you guys know that, even though things have been looking slow on our end, and 2.0 initial has was delayed...I have been working every single night reading code to make this upcoming tune the absolute best.
    Fully retuned injection modes
I've located the master RPM for fuel ON / OFF (decel fuel on/off)
Located the throttle requests that create "rev hang" at certain RPM points
    and so much more

Is that what you call, in the business, a teaser?

:DIt's all good. Get some sleep.

Not teasing at all. Just don't want you guys to think I'm lounging around not working hard to make our tunes better. I don't think I've spent as much time in code for a single car ever before.

Product tease, marketing. I was kidding, I don't think you are teasing. Especially since you didn't know the term. Anyway does not surprise me since you are basically completely overwriting the native Toyota coding!

Bro, no one thinks you're slacking, we all know you've got a lot to do and just want to get it right. Just remember, as im sure you know, you can't please everybody! As long as you accomplish what you've set out to do and are satisfied with the results, the vast majority will be as well
