Seems to me like there are an awful lot of complaints about when a “free” tune might finally be available to everyone who only purchased a cable.. seems a little ungrateful to me which is unfortunate because negativity like that is what ruins it for everyone else. If it’s so easy, why aren’t you coming out with 3.0? Rant over.

hawt. I’ve been having a curious case of 1st gear being stubborn lately...have had to start in 2nd. Awkward as fuuuuuck. Tranny fluid changes soon.

 

If you sent the registration message to OVT and were unsure, that is 100% on your shoulders. Just the facts.

I'm glad that was worked out. Seriously though, with any MPG bump, the tune mostly pays for itself in about 5yrs.

 

But mostly the truck is way more enjoyable

 

There are those two ways of looking at it. Wallet and smiles per mile.

I came close to buying less expensive tunes for our turbos that would have given us a big bump in power and would have paid for themselves with MPG bumps that most saw when they were not enjoying the hell out of it. The thing that held me back was always that there were no driveability issues going on, and being torquey turbos, we were already getting below average tire life.

The combination is what pulled me into the OVT vacuum, esp after feeling how much the TSB tune changed things.

Base is a great change in the motor, but fucking FOB, baby. That shit is da bomb diggity.

I purchased the kit in December but my truck is in storage for now. Does it make sense to wait for 2.0 to install it? I don't mind waiting. Im just not sure how this works. Like if I install the current version can I upgrade later? Is there any problem with waiting?

 

No need to wait. New software revisions are included in the original purchase.

 

We might be getting our MT this afternoon! *fingers crossed*.
One other person is checking it out and if they don't grab it we are. Unfortunately they are first in line.

If we are able to get it we will let you guys know. I've been on the look out for one for a while. I really want the best tunes for both AT and MT trucks.

 

The only bad thing about this is that once you get one you will realize how bad it is, and want to start over with the MT tune.
