2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

At 10k, not sure if that is a K18 error or not.

 

I guess I'm old since i had to Google that.

To clarify and not derail any further, my clutch isn't slipping, no way, it feels fine and engages fine.

It could just be something in the programming, kicking in and out of Atkinson maybe?

I have a 19, fuel pump recall, possibly? Mine isn't on the list.

Knock correction? Possibly.

Soft offroad suspension, combined with bumps in the road and a binding slip yoke, causing some sort of axle wrap feeling? Who knows.

I could data log it, there is one stretch of highway that i can duplicate this every single time.

I was looking this morning and stumbled across it. There are also 11 2020s with MT. A mix of sport and off roads and option packages. Some have $4k or more discounts.

 

My 18 pro manual is being traded in next week. Under 15k miles without issues. 2020 manual trd pro is in my future. I already flashed back to stock and have to say that I missed the stock throttle response. The power was better with the ov tune but I like the control of the stock throttle better. It at least feels like it ramps up power instead of the truck not adding more power the further the pedal is pushed.

I am hope it the test truck will help with this.
