I am tuned. Not sure which tune was installed the last time I played hop scotch though. I have the "single torque map patch" loaded right now, but may have had the 2.0 Beta loaded for the "event".

Was just curious about the DFCO, because it doesn't happen all that often, but every once in a while at really low RPMs it seems like I can't get the throttle to do what I want, like its fighting with me and adjusting things just a fraction of a second before I do - and I hop around like a fool in a crowded parking lot

I must say though that the "single torque map patch" seems to be much more predictable across the board, especially with a Rev-Matching Double-Clutch Down-Shift (ooooo... that sounds fancy). Haven't explicitly tested the DFCO with the patch. I didn't think it had that in it.

30 mph I'm assuming you're revving to the moon before it allows you to select first gear ? (aka rev match)

Heck yeah. I rev match every downshift. As @lapoltba says, no clutch braking. :D

But then on motorcycle, I clutch every shift also. :notsure: I'm a rower, a midnight clutcher.

Oh man. I did mine at 7k because of the UOA that @Omar RVA posted and since I got blocked out of 1st at a stop a few times. I did the diffs and t case also just wanting to clear out any break-in sludge. The t case did not need to be mess with at that point. It is one that could go 30k or more before messing with it the first time.

Rev match yes, but I select the gear before I hit the throttle. No need to double clutch for me. It is a longer shift and most times that I do it is just because I now can. Prior to the ADM, I couldn't even do it smoothly at low speeds. It's a celebration of sorts.

Most of the time, I am downshifting into 1st at about 15mph.

No way my truck is letting me select first gear while going 15-30 without revving the engine prior. Its better after the ADM and MT-90, but maybe it needs more break in time with only 4,000 miles. I don't have a problem with it. Just curious that your truck will let you into first going that fast before you rev the engine.

I did the ADM at about 10k. Yes. The 1st gear syncros take the longest to break in and I would say to not force anything. I also swapped in MT-90 at about 7k.

So the best that I can say is at about 10k, smooth drops into first should be possible.

Most of the break in was done before I did the fluid swap, but it does continue to get smoother and better. I'm over 31k now.

Why is anyone trying to use first gear at such high speeds? I only use it if I’m completely stopped...

I was always able to do it in previous cars and was frustrated how bad it was on the Taco at slow speeds. The ADM fixed that, so for grins I do it at higher RPMs just because I now can. I hated the accumulator and what it did for the shifting. Like I said, usually it is low speed mainly in traffic. Now with the DFCO patch, I have been having more fun with 2nd gear.

    100% fact!

Which is why ATs suck if a person is a control freak. Either the control freaks of the world are about to become extinct or peeps are on a lot (A L. O. T.) of antidepressants.

For the folks that have not yet grabbed the Beta files:

Also, some roll out details are noted at ovtuned.com in the FB section.

Tony, where is the FB section on the website? I’m a bit challenged finding stuff there.

I don't at such high speeds, but there are those times when you start slowing down in 2nd, thinking you might come to a complete stop, say about 15 or so..... Only to have traffic get going again and 2nd is gutless, even full floored. So, I'll rev match as best I can, and hit 1st. I try and avoid this situation by simply coasting.
