2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

I am not sure of I am going to delete it yet. I may if I have issues with all the egr and emissions stuff. The automatic is very shifty. Imagine that?!?

 

Been under a rock for a while.... is there an updated Manual tune out yet? Have I missed anything else?

I'm still waiting for my 18 tune to be sent. Hope this happens when Matt is back.

 

He's gonna be swamped when he gets back, that's for sure. I'm thinking that the '18 tunes are gonna be somewhere near the top, since there was a lot of attention drawn to it here. That and it limits the ability to bring in new '18 Taco customers!
I hope you get that file before 1.03 A/T drops though, because it will be almost impossible to contact him once that feeding frenzy starts lol.

 

Back on the 23rd he said so hopefully something pretty quick ,, gone for 2 weeks now ,, so I’ll be watching you B10 guys for updates !!!!

I have a 2018 manual. My box has been sitting there for two weeks. I bought a new laptop to run the program. To be fair I’ve been out of the country for the past 8 days so haven’t had a chance to install it. Can’t wait to get this up and running in my truck.

I filled up my truck with two tanks of 91. My butt dyno says it runs better with 91.

There's nothing to install. The 2018 has a different ecu and the tune hasn't been sent out yet so your not missing out on anything.

 

Seriously though, you shouldn't run into any major problems with the '18 file as Mat said it's basically the same as the 17 WRT ignition/fuel/VVT maps etc. Just as a precaution though, take your laptop with OEM file/programming cable with you on the first run. Yeah, it seems obvious but trust me on this one lol.

A couple of months ago I had just landed in Denver or something and waiting for the door to open so you have a bunch of people standing waiting. I had an aisle seat so I had no reason to stand and wait... As i'm the only one sitting I'm just kinda looking around minding my own business when I notice a woman who's standing diagonally from me reach with her hand and pull out a murph.. It didn't even phase me. Been there, done that. A moment later she does it again and I, again, not phased thinking to myself it must be buried deep in her crack... Another moment later, she gets serious. This time a hand goes into her pants to adjust... Oh... ok, this one is serious.. Then, hand number two is called in for additional support. Now, i'm looking around thinking to myself is anyone else seeing this???? No.. looks like everyone else is just anxious to get off the plane. So I go back to the woman and her hands are far in her ass and then the retreat orders are given and her hands come out. Hmmm.. Ok, her hands were clearly touching her butthole... What will she do next? Yeah.. She puts her hands on the top of the seat and she's got a good grip on it. Pink eye anyone? Then moment passes and she brings both hands up to get a nice whiff of her hands... WTF..

People Are fucking nasty. I am a pilot and use to fly for US Airways. On a trip from Frankfurt to Philly one day back in 06 we had to divert to Portland Maine for a medical emergency. A German passenger who had decided wearing umbros and no underwear was a good idea had a seizure on his way to the lav. While he was flopping around in the aisle, he pissed and shit everywhere. Sprayed other passengers with his fecal spatter and pissy dribble. We landed safely in Portland and the EMTs came on board. While they were going through his carry-on they found a prescription bottle of AZT (HIV meds). Hazmat team quarantined the plane and sent all the pax that got sprayed to the hospital for shots.

 

im never flying again.

 

Had another one where a passenger with Hepatitis sneezed blood all over the seat in front of him.
