Pretty sad they did that to Mathew. AJ likes to do that to people for no reason. Probably because he is losing money on pushing a product he probably gets a cut from. They accused me and others of things that were completely false. And quickly banned me after we started 3GT. Sad people have to have power trips. At least Mathew is always welcome to post anytime he likes on 3GT. I take his posts and share in the ovtune mega thread all the time. I try to give people all the information they need without having to sift through some of these forum threads.

Just got back from a spirited 120km drive down a rough, broken asphalt, windy secondary road. Putting the tune, and the Pro suspension through its paces.

Drives so much better. Awesome usable torque right where you need it...starting just over 2000rpms.

Rev matching downshifts are much easier. Blipping the throttle actually does something!

4lo, locked, ATRAC donuts in 2nd are pure joy on a snow packed parking lot. I though I read somewhere that ATRAC and the RR locker disengaged over 3mph? My wheel speed was much higher and both stayed on.

Also pretty happy with fuel economy...my trip average for this drive was 12.8L/100kms or 18.4 US-MPG

Also just passed 1000km on the odo

Not certain. But TTE charges vendors to promote on their page. And wouldn't surprise me if the 3rd gen page does the same. They were getting to that point when I left as admin and started 3GT and wanting vendors to give them free stuff.

Knowing how AJ works. It really wouldn't surprise me. But just my speculation. He discounted your product from the beginning. I had many arguments about that during my tenure on TT3. If it's true. They will just lie anyways. They told lies about myself which I can easily disprove. They get butthurt very easily. The power trip is stupid. And I'm sorry you had to deal with that BS. And I'm sure someone will share all of this with them. Oh well. The truth hurts. You are a stand-up guy and I have no problem defending your product and improvements it provides. We've had to remove those like AJ from our page as well.

Ugh. I hate facebook admins that charge companies to talk about their product in a facebook group. They don't own that group, they didn't pay 1 penny to set it up, and are just trying to nickel and dime companies.

Yes sir indeed. I don't admin a page to make any money. It was created to help people and for everyone to find the info they are seeking. It's a conflict of interest IMO. We promote vendors who are helpful to members and offer them competitive prices. It's a headache being an admin. But most of us definitely aren't doing it for money or any recognition. It's all about having a place for the community to enjoy and find the answers they seak. Especially without all of the keyboard warriors.

I actually find 2nd rather anticlimactic. Maybe it’s just because 1st packs such a wallop.

It is pretty cool hitting 105kmh in 2nd though :burnrubber: and that was only 6500, because you know, break-in still :jerkoff:

2nd has always been my favorite gear, a quick shift into 2nd about 2k rpm and then slowly roll into the gas pedal and it just pulls away. I can confirm 70mph + on the BFO test file I have been running. If 2.0 is anything like the BFO test file I will be very happy.

I'm curious to hear the reviews from the "Vets", which are mostly dongle users I think haha, to see if anyone has the same feeling as me. I think 1st is so damn good on 2.0 SFOB, with the additional rev range you'd be a fool not to wind it out. And don't get me wrong, I'm speaking about all out, foot to the floor acceleration right now. Everyday driving is a completely different story, which this tune is also amazing for.

I'm on the 2.0 final test map and it's very similar to what I remember of 1.05 91 FOB in terms of how the power comes on so smoothly, but doesn't come close to the raw punch of 1.05 BFO test lol

I think BFO was by far my favorite, same for @M1Awolf just because it was such a monster down low and its behavior made sure you knew it lol

That being said, every tune since then has been an improvement overall, especially in areas where even BFO needed some love

To be clear though, 2.0 is absolutely on a level all its own. You can really only compare aspects of it to previous maps

Does anybody feel like 2.0 requires more gas than any 1.05 tune needed to start from a stop
