Two problems with working at home:

    1) Never know when I should shower
    2) Can't take a pull on the bottle beer being pouring on whatever is in the crockpot

There’s a lot to try and follow here so I apologize if I missed it - but if I want to tune my truck in this fashion I now have to wait for new hardware which isn’t available yet? Then I can dive into this?

For the record I have tried three times to get the 2-2.5K RPM flutter. Not happening.

Please give me the conditions? Load, light load? Gear? Throttle???

Maybe because I am running 4.88? It just continues to pull in all gears.

Truck is running very well, thank you!
I started out on 04B41 SFOB Premium, loved it but it was a bit too twitchy for me when cruising on the highway. I put about 600km on that file.
I'm now running Base Premium, and as expected I gave up some low end for better driveability. It's just more comfortable to deal with in most situations.
Anyway, there seems to be a flat spot with slight hesitations in the ~2500-3200 range on both files. I notice this mostly in 2nd/3rd when on the gas quite hard. I've felt this on previous files, so it wasn't something new to me.
Other than that, as I said the truck runs well and the throttle is predictable.
    Cheers!

I think if we continue to try to tune out every little quirk, odd feeling, etc we will be here until the end of time.

Take the Lexus RC F for example. 6 figure car when priced out.
Shockingly, the stock tune in sport mode has a huge throttle surge for 2nd and 3rd gear at 2000rpm.
Why, I don't know. But it feels like absolute junk, literally feels like the transmission slips for a moment right at 2000.

And that's how Lexus sells it.

Nothing wrong with the car, it's just a quirk of the calibration.
