2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

Ah the infamous early ecu issue. Good luck. I read the alpha and the manual thread. All of it. Did my research and bought it. (Don’t assume).

I’ve received the answers for the dongle setup. Just waiting for that final file.

Good luck with the final tune. How much of a difference is the 1.03? Night and day?

 

It is night and day, still has quirks but Mat is working on those before sending the final file out.

Remember guys, the 1.03 A/T tune is the priority right now, as far as I can tell. It's the lion's share of Mat's business and so he needs to sort that out first.

It's always been that way, right from the start of this whole process. M/T is second, but we'll get our day in the sun with 1.03B M/T.

I wouldn't expect it to drop until after the A/T files, and the dyno day for 1.03 A/T is 14 Feb. We got a few weeks minimum, IMHO.

 

That is why I am waiting patiently.

I get a bonus from work in march-ish so I'll be using it to get this tune . I would buy now but just spend 1200 ish on my suspension.

 

From the sounds of it, the M/T 1.03 is amazing as is, so it will be good when Matt goes full bore on the M/T.

By that time your experience getting the tune should be smooth as silk!

Latest sorted out file, no more email "interface" to get the tune - must be nice lol

 

If you were built in 05/16, you're 04B11.. as we've established through other users that trucks built in 04/16 are 04B11 too.

Btw, I've loved reading your reply and posts through this thread. Glad that there is sonmuch energy and response for this tune. I can't wait now to get it. March can not come fast enough.

 

Honestly, this is the best product/Mod you can get for the 3rd gen IMO. I can't tolerate a laggy throttle in a M/T, sucks the fun right out of it for me. Others are good with it and that's fine.

 

Communication is key. Setting timelines is important piece of customer service. It is March. Say march.

He also explained in the beginning that this wasn't a full version it's still a test release and is undergoing testing. Delays are expected.

Take your childish behaviour to his customer service channels, stop polluting a Tacoma world thread.

 

Look out we have a customer service badass over here... obviously no one is better, better yield to royalty...
