So, drove down to Moab and I will say, the stock 04B14 is pretty damn good. Can't wait to try the OV tunes of this!

Kinda dead. It's the Dev thread that really needs to die.

Okay so this is probably a super stupid question but I need to ask - I bought the tune pack and vftuner software+Cable. I got my master key and downloaded/installed my registry file. Tomorrow my cable will arrive so I should be able to get my ECU ID and such. So now my question - I keep seeing people talk about the VF credits (I currently have the 5 that come with everything) and to be careful on how you spend them and to make sure you've done all the updates and stuff. I just got my truck 3 weeks ago, is there anything I need to do before I get my ECU ID and send it in?

Along these lines, what exactly are credits? Since I bought the tune pack, I can bounce around between tunes (ie 87 tune vs premium) and edit as needed in vf tuner without needing additional credits, correct? More credits should only be needed if I were to flash someone else's truck? The instructions sheet talks about "different ECU types" but if I am only flashing my truck, I shouldn't have to worry about that, right?

Thanks in advance. I don't want to overlook something, make a stupid mistake, and need to dump another $75 to get more credits, haha.

Just make sure you have the latest ECU ID for your truck. If it’s a 2020 or 2021, it should be good to go. If it’s older, you may want to flash an update before flashing your ovtune.

Yes, and ok, thank you. Kind of a bummer I have to wait longer, but I get it...
I was hoping to get it tuned before my 613 mile (9 hour) drive to AZ

Flashed 2.0 04B14 regular and have been driving around.
Feels good. I have noticed an almost 3 mpg loss over the stock 04B14 stock.
Leaving to AZ tomorrow so having the extra torque of 2.0 will be nice.

Is the compare map feature available yet? It would be very interesting to compare 04B14 2.0 with stock 04B14 and why there is a decrease in MPG

Temps are dipping and winter fuels are rolling out. To me, the OV Tunes seem to be affected more by lower temps and winter fuels.

Anyone have predictions on when 04B91 might be ready? It looks like the someone posted the first truck with this ID back in mid-September. I know they're working on support for handful of trucks right now, so it might be a while. I'm insanely excited to try the tune, but I understand this stuff takes time. Just curious if anyone else has noticed a general timeframe between new ECUs and the tunes coming out in the past.

No predictions. It took a few weeks to get 04B14 support, but there was only one new ECU at that time. There are four new ones to support at the moment. I would bet that OVT wants to launch them all together to keep things simple?

That would make sense to get everything done together. For my own sanity, I'll just assume 3-4 weeks per ECU so it would probably be safe to assume no earlier than Thanksgiving and maybe closer to Christmas.

I had sent in an email regarding this very same thing and I was told that support for 04B91 was already fully supported so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the vF Tuner software and the Tacoma Tune Pack. I've sent in my truck's ECU ID, calibration, calibration file number, and part number but haven't heard anything back just yet. I also have yet to receive the tune pack. I imagine they're slammed with work so it only makes sense things are taking a bit longer than normal.

Searched high and low, so I'm just going to ask. Does the tune pack include vft files for the MT?
