    Own up to what?

There were several times that I tried to figure out what your issues were.
You don't communicate with us properly practically ever. Leaving me to decipher your forum posts only.

I'm not arguing with you on Christmas. The post history is in this very thread.

    Happy holidays.

Not sure how those are even related...but let's assume they are.

So what you're saying is surging issues with the STOCK port injection/Direct injection code is a problem with MY tunes?

    Go blame Toyota.

These tables I'm talking about inthat post are not changed on any present tunes, and we're only recently discovered.

So to blame me for Toyota's stock functioning makes no sense whatsoever.

As I previously said, not interested in arguing with you.
I've been down this road with you multiple times in the past.

Our tune is more refined than Toyota's stock programming.
But as we have always explained, some parts of code simply cannot be "tuned." This isn't a damper on the effectiveness of our calibrations.

As far as some trucks that may be surging, we are investigating the possible cause.

    Geeze.

In other news, I've been tuned since August, and it's still running great. I think some of the "settling" is just us getting used to the tune as drivers. If there's ever any doubt, either do a hard pull in second or while on the highway, make a pass at 75mph.

Still love it, still the best mod my truck has.

Can anybody send me a 04b13 5.29 premium fuel tune? I am also on 285's I think there is a specific tune for that now too...I have been off the thread for awhile now, and attempted to download the tune with the flash manager but it fails.... I have emailed into support with no response. Any help would be appreciated as I am now regeared. Thank you!

Since you drive a manual the tire size and regear really wouldn't affect you as far as the tunes go.

I suggest you update your ECU to 04B14 for the latest and greatest TSB. Also tire size won’t matter for MT tunes as it only changes shift points for the ATs.

How do I update the ecu to that version? I am a early dongle customer, with flash manager. Thanks for your help!

Dongle customers get a free upgrade to vf tuner. Dongleless users are a $79 upgrade.

Yes ...... use mat's zendesk. If you're sending back your dongle ...... follow the instructions carefully. Some dongles have been "lost & untraceable "
I don't know that Mat is responding currently to the Zendesk stuff ........ trying to get his upgrades finished. Be patient.

    No problem.
Remember ..... I believe it helps to include your original order number ..... and if you respond / question Mat on
this forum he may not respond or know who you are. ( he has his own forum now --> https://forum.vftuner.com/forum )

    Enjoy !

So I have been out of the "OVtune, VFtuner" loop since March when 2.0 came out and that is all I have had flashed on my truck. My question to y'all is: How much more drivability, acceleration, mpg improvement am I missing out on by not having some of the VFtuner tunes?

I am happy with 2.0 but I feel there is still room for improvement.

I think it was worth it as i was able to fine tune things to my liking.

It still has the same quirks as 2.0, but the updates in the new version of vf is supposed to address some of those, I'm waiting patiently
