You got it correct from my perspective.

It's amazing how much of a difference just a few simple tweaks, even to a stock calibration, can make in the truck's response.
I literally just raised the 1st gear/4H/4L/Reverse throttle limit map values, and then carefully adjusted the PTETG1-G6 maps (largest changes in G1,2, and 3).
Only other notable change was making the PTET Primary map more negative in the far left column for more engine braking.
....and that's it. No airload map stuff, no ATRTA linear smoothing, nothing else.
It's like night and day difference over the dead pedal stock configuration.
I tried a small ATRTA mod to see what it would do at low speed, but I didn't see anything significant.
It absolutely lacks the low end power of SFOB, but it will get out of it's own way now.

BTW, I'd like to mention something about the tune (any tune, not just OV) WRT "bread crumbs " left behind in the ECM after a flash.

There will be several "codes" set across various ECUs, but they don't set a CEL. They are also NOT cleared when you use "Clear DTC" in the flashing software either.
You'll always get errors such as "lost communication with front recognition camera" or "lost communication with instrument cluster" and the like.
I don't remember off the top of my head all of the ECUs that will show this, but Instrument cluster, Front recognition camera, Navigation System, and possibly Master Switch always seem to be culprits.
I'm not saying any tech will notice, care or do anything about it.. just that these bread crumbs do exist. I'm not even sure if they stick around for any length of time either TBH.
You CAN go into each ECU individually with techstream and erase the codes though.
Just putting this out there as PSA.

    - We have a few more people providing a few logs for confirmation of a few things. Some anti stall settings need tweaked and we are ready to move to a bigger release.

So Tony, can you describe what you like about the anti stall business being removed?
I get why you want it, but tell me how the truck drives differently..

We're still working on that. Stupid Toyota ECU code.

On my side, I don't recall having antistall on our two ETB MTs. Also those cars had imperceptible DFCO cut-in and no discernable rev hang. Just unadulterated MT fun, for the most part. Both were MPI and not DI. One was a little rubber bandy and the other was about as tight as pre-DI ETBs got, IMHO.

Patiently awaiting the release of VFTune 1.3 with all the extra MT goodies. I have been very happy with the changes I made so far, but it sounds like the new map access that is planned will get me what I want.

I have always run SFOB tunes. If you're waiting for a new VFT file or tune pack, you are going to be waiting a while. AFAIK there are no plans for updated/improved tunes. All the changes are on the VFTuner side with additional controls and map access for you/I/us to adjust the 2.0 files to our liking.

Ohh.... mustve misunderstood recent rumblings. So in order to take advantage of that Id need to shell out another 79 bucks from the looks of it? Currently dont have edit ability even though I shelled out over 700 almost 3 years ago. Unless Im grandfathered in which I may have missed. I dont follow Ov (or VF) as much as I used to.
