Look at the @MESO mirror turn threads and videos. If you never did it before, put a plastic shopping bag over the mirror to catch the cover. It will come off unexpectedly fast. Bag handle over the mirror. Standing on the front side of the mirror, pull on the top lip of the mirror cover in the forward direction. Do your best to catch it.

What is the part number that is compatible with the heated mirrors? The part number from the OP doesn't say anything about heated mirrors, unless I am missing something?

I confirm that the part numbers shown in the photo in the first post of this thread are indeed for heated mirrors.

Went ahead and ordered these from OEM Parts Source. The pair were just under $100 with the 10% off shipping code 10OFF.

FYI, I'm with Tullie D. I adjust my mirrors out as in the C&D article and still have a large blind spot because of the C pillar and rear headrest.

Quick run down on how I adjust the mirrors. Driver's side: put your face almost against the glass and adjust so the side of the truck is just visible. Passenger side: put your head in the middle of the truck and adjust until the side of the truck is just visible. This has been great in every other vehicle I've owned in the past couple of decades (when I started doing this) including my 1st gen Taco, but for some reason this one, not so much.

Has anyone had success selling their extra OEM mirrors on online auction sites?

I’ve been looking at this. Anyone know if the RAV4 mirrors are adjustable for the convex??

The convex part moves with the flat part. They adjust together, meaning when the flat part moves, the convex part moves with it.

Someone makes a spotter mirror that works differently, if that's what you want. The Toyota OE Rav4 mirrors work just fine for my needs.

    Edit:
