Anyone know which model # mirrors to get for a 2014 Tacoma? I ordered the ones in this thread, but they don't fit...not even close to the right shape.

I checked around on ToyotaPartsDeal.com, but there are dozens of options on there, and just about zero information as to what makes each model different.

    Thanks!

The part number I posted from Sienna to fit 2nd gen was confirmed NOT to work from a 2nd gen owner.

Gotta do this soon. Was hoping I could use the eBay code for today for these but they’re more expensive there than anywhere else

if you set your mirrors correctly you don't need these.

My Tacoma has heated mirrors. Does it matter if I get the mirrors from an LE Rav4 that does not have heated mirrors? I may be able to get a wrecked 18 le mirrors, but won't bother if I lose the defrost feature

You would have to look at the parts diagram for that RAV4 and make sure it's the same part number.

I've been pretty critical of these mirrors as I don't feel their usefulness justifies the price over stick on bubbles, but one huge advantage to these is that the convex part is also heated so if you defrost your mirrors, the convex part also clears. That is nice.

I will love this RAV4 mirrors for my 2018 Sport. I’ve always bought the bubble stick ones, they do work as well but I rather buy this and give them a try!

Thanks for starting this thread. After pulling a trailer this year, I can't believe I missed this thread. Can't wait to see how it helps!

    Pic for attention

Just installed. One thing I'm not a fan of is the new mirror has a brownish tint to it. The smaller mirror has the same tint as the old one, so there's a strange contrast now.

Installed my mirrors today. Ended up breaking a few pins on the stock Drivers mirror, yet the passenger side pulled away without issue. What's the secret to releasing any of the tabs?

Regardless, I love these and wish I got them sooner. Thanks to you all for your insight!

Paul, could the cold weather have anything to do with it? Tabs seem to break easier when they're cold vs. warm. Just a thought.

I lived in Hawaii when I swapped mine and they burst out like an artillery shell.

Only complaint I have is that top/down visibility is decreased in favor of more side to side. Seems like a silly compromise considering I didn’t have that on previous mirror swaps on other cars, but still better than OEM when uour BSM stops working ..

Possibly but the passenger side went well, so YMMV.

    All good points.

Also it just looks better and not like you got some stick on mirrors from pepboys. It just add a little nicer touch and the Tacoma that parks next to you is going to wonder how the hell you got those mirrors and he doesn't.

Rimless bubbles look like OEM ones from those that are made that way. No way I'd stick on the cheap ones with the black plastic surround. I'd rather have the function of being able to see the tires on my trailer over the form of looking better. I think these work very well from the waist up, if you don't tow these probably are fine. I just want more downward view to avoid curbing my tires.

That being said I'm still rocking these.

Mine do not have the brownish hue. I wonder if it will fade out over time, or if there is some reason for it being brown.
