Ordered one for my second gen, looks like I'll be one of the firsts. Will post pics when I can.

Just want to say I am extremely impressed with you guys right now.

I know you are all dealing with the horrible flooding down there right now and it has put you behind, yet somehow you were able to still take the time to let me know what is going on.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Just to be clear, you and yours come first and the rest of us can wait. Take care of your homes first and us later.

    Cheers

Sorry if I missed this as I didn't read every page. This is the first time I've seen this thread. I'm assuming this is winch ready and we supply our own winch during installation correct? If so, is there any specific winch that is recommended? I currently has a 32" light bar in that little sections between the bumper and grill as many other people do. Will this have to be removed along with the aluminum bar behind the bumper?

I'm curious about whether or not I'd have to remove my stealth light bar as well.

IMO this is the best looking aftermarket bumper on the market. I can see one of these on my truck in the near future.

Are you going to do sliders for the 3 gens? I can see myself taking a day trip to BR to pick them both up.

Our bumper is winch ready and yes you supply your own winch. We do have the Smittybilt X2O for sale on our website. It does fit our bumpers as does the Warn Xeon. Most all 10,000 lb & smaller winches will work, but you may need to relocate the solenoid to the engine bay. You can get that kit from the winch manufacturer. The Smittybilt X2O & Warn Xeon does not require the relocation of the solenoid. You can check out the Smittybuilt winch at http://www.southernstyleoffroad.com...-synthetic-rope-winch-10000-lb-load-capacity/

Yes, the light & bar would have to be removed.

Thanks for the compliment. We don't have any plans for the sliders right at the moment. Obviously, our plans have taken a detour with the flooding of the shop. Can you check back with us in a few months?

Thanks for letting me know. I figured so with all of it but just wanted to make sure. I'll check it all out.

For sure. It'll be a few months before I'm ready to buy anyway. Hopefully you guys get everything at home and at the shop situated so you can get back up and running.

Our bumper fits most skids. If you skid plate is no further out than 3/8" off frame rail, the bumper will fit.

We are still tearing out sheet rock & wet cabinets, but we are welding too. Slowly getting back up to speed.
