Vancouver to South Dakota here I come :p, that's an extreme example...but you're not wrong. If there were shops close with products I'd want I would do that for sure!

First recovery with the SSO bumper/winch. Pulled a guy out of drumroll....the parking lot of the pumpkin patch! After a solid week of rain out here, first sunny day so the whole town descended on the said pumpkin patch. Their once grassy parking lot turned into a swamp. Found buddy spinning wheels on his civic, he had her buried pretty well to the frame. Bumper and winch performed beautifully, nice simple recovery. Sadly did not have my phone so no pics:(

I would have applied the traits of a bulldozer and pushed him deeper while crushing Mtn Dew cans.

Install went smoothly. It took me about 5 hours to do. I really took my time taking apart the the oem bumper cover and went very slowly while cutting(I'm no auto body tech lol). That time also included mounting the winch, light bar and all the wiring. If I did it again I could probably do it in 2 hours knowing what I know now. Like stated before there is a ton of room between the radiator and grill to operate the clutch and wireless switch.

The front end dropped less than half of an inch with ICON 650lb coils. I leveled it out with a half a turn of preload on the coilovers.

    Smittybilt x20 10k synthetic winch

CaliRaised 20" spot bar mounted under the hoop

    Orange daystar shackle isolators.

Very very very very happy with the outcome!!! It looks amazing and it's nice to know the next time I'm on a solo huniting trip and bury the truck on a snow bank I won't have to do so much digging!

Is it necessary to cut the front cover or can you just remove the black center piece and install the SSO?

I think cutting is necessary with the hoop version but either wat the lines will look better with cutting.

Thanks for the reply, bummer- I stink at cutting so that bumper is out of the question for me.

I do too but I still did it lol. Once you put the painters tape down just go super slow! Even if you leave a little jagged edge here and there, there is a nice trim piece that will cover the small mistakes. I was very worried about the cut but I liked the bumper too much!!

Yeah, I got him to hook it up to his car (questionable tow loop). Told him if it gets ripped off, he's on the hook for any damage. Was also a bit worried about his rear bumper popping off as the angle of the line was putting some stress on it. I used a line dampener and got the hell out of the way. His car survived, not sure about his pride.

I decided to install upside down to better compliment the angle on the Hawse/Bumper

Great company, solid stout product. The hinge is well made and feels very durable, I'm sure it will last many cycles.

They just released a version with a light bar as well and are offering 20% off to TW members...

I prefer the more simple version and the price is great for a well made product.

Just noticed another promo on their FB Page. If buying without the light bar, entering coupon code "Insta15" should get you 15% off. Although, I'm not sure if that one was active for just one day. Worth a shot. ***Edit*** Just checked "Insta15" is still active.
