I always advocate a winch, if not for yourself then maybe for someone you care about one day or even a stranger. However, we can make you a custom cut with no winch opening for a completely sleek steel bumper.

Would you have any pics of this thing mounted? I'd happily considering re-locating license plate. We're supposed to have one in CA and I only have it up on the window for now until I can find a better mount that isn't the shitty stock one (it broke off)

 

You could always just get the Hawse with the two mounting bolts. The bracket will slide onto them. This is provided you order your bumper with a winch opening.

 

I don't have a pic but it's designed to sandwich between the fairlead & the bumper.

I eventually switched it out and now running the V2 Flipster. Nothing wrong with the other bracket. I just prefer not to remover the two mounting screws and remove the plate every time I want to use the winch. Both are solid brackets though.

 

I just noticed this was the truck I was trolling at the New Overlanders in Bedord VA. Thanks for coming and letting me troll your truck , got me sold on the SSO bumper almost 100%

 

Interesting, I ordered mine around the same time with hoop and LED, no word yet when it will be completed. I was told 4-6 weeks.

Different truck sorry, but if you had wanted to troll it you'd have been more than welcome to!

 

If you take a look at post 329 you'll see my NJ plate mounted. Its a JCR Offroad front license plate bracket that sits behind the fairlead and uses 1/4 turn fasteners for the plate to attach as a quick release. You'll have to bend a small dogleg into the plate if you use a flatlink but using a regular winch hook you'll probably be ok without the bend. you can see the receptacles for the fasteners above the fairlead in the close up pic without the plate installed.

 

Lead time depends on options selected & where your order lands in the queue and how many orders we have in house.
