    I see everyone doing it, but is no one worried about their shackles being stolen? Is there a way to lock these things to our truck when we leave?

    Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of it being a shackle? Shackles are meant to be un-threaded and taken off to string something through. I think i'd rather just have a welded ring at that point.

    JB weld if it’s attached to a detachable 2” receiver hitch mount maybe, but yes you probably wouldn’t want permanent to your bumper.

    I’ve just wrenched mine extremely tight so it takes a big pair of plyers on one end to take off.

    Yeah thats what I was thinking. But it's simple enough to throw them in the cab when not being used so i'll probably do that
