Thanks, I was very careful on laying it out, didn't want any gaps!

Now to get my fathers bumper on his truck installed.

We've not heard of any issues with our design interfering with the TSS system. The bull bar sits low enough and the radar sensor has a more narrow beam facing directly forward.

Has there been any mention of an aluminum version of this bumper (like the aluminum 4runner version)? Interested in the bumper as a light-duty armor, trying to keep weight down for daily driving.

We do plan on teaming up with @HeftyFabworks in the near future to license our Tacoma slimline in the aluminum version just like our 4runner model. It is very hectic right now though for both he and I, so a timeline is not available just yet. The 2016 Tacoma model is definitely the next aluminum version though.

I'm in for a group buy at your convenience, assuming costs are similar to the 4Runner option. I get that there's uncertainty, but is this a months thing, a years thing? I'm not in a rush, but I want to make sure I'm budgeting for it. :)

An aluminum version of the slimline for 2018 Taco would be all kinds of rad. I wonder if a group buy petition would entice the manufacturer? :fingerscrossed::spending:

Does anyone know if you can install a light bar bar after the bumper is installed? I have the bumper, the winch and an opportunity to have a shop do the install for free. But there is a time limit and the light bar might not be delivered in time?

No, the light bar and winch need to be installed in the bumper before the bumper is mounted on the truck. You will need to remove the bumper and winch to install the light bar.

Maybe have them install the bumper without the winch, You could always drop the bumper afterwards at home and install the light and winch, or just wait till you have the light bar in hand.

Not that this answers your question, but I did my 20" lightbar in between the hoop and bumper because I wanted the front-facing parking sensor option.

@SouthernStyleOffRoad ran into a SSO advertisement last night, in the least likely of places... guess I need to clear my cookies.

Embarrassingly enough, this was through the Candy Crush app on my phone.
