You replace your frame yet?

LOL. The 2.5 gen has the same frame and probably thinner and worse to save on production costs.

Ya, had a 2nd Gen, noise was an issue. But I do have hearing issues, not sure if that was the cause.

 

Threads like this make me really appreciate being a member of a local Jeep forum - a place where guys actually talk about modifications, plan trips, and regularly get together for off-road camping sessions. Nothing but preschool drama and penis measurement insecurities here.

Yes, when I had my TJ and belonged to that forum and talked about trips and meetings, it was a little different. But I must have to admit, listening to the the problems or bitches on here is entertaining, cause it seems most are first hurt issues. My little toe hurts, can you help me with my problem?

 

Yeah going to have to say Tacoma's rock, OP is probably someone who bought a Frontier or Colorado with buyers remorse trying to make themselves feel better.

Yep. 2nd gen threads like this didn't exist. Used to be just like you described here. Been a member 5 years the 3rd gen section makes me want to not come back.

2009 is when production moved from NUMMI in California to the Texas plant.....

At lest the old Tacoma factory in California is pumping out Tesla's now.

 

True. But I hate to see what was a great community be this way and it shouldn't have to be. Don't understand these posts. Everyday. Don't like your truck, fine, there are other avenues besides posting here about it. Don't like the 3rd gen and think your 2nd gen is far superior, fine don't post in the 3rd gen section. Why is this so hard.
