Just bought a 2016 4D Tacoma 2 weeks ago. The sunroof leaks.
The sunroofs are new this year to the tacoma.
    Anyone else having this problem?

First complaint I've seen yet regarding a leaky sunroof. After thoroughly checking it's closed all the way (manual) and still leaking, take it to the dealer. Run off tube may have some blockage, ect.

Might be those bolts that some folks have said needed tightening from the factory. Are you getting any rattles/noises?
If you haven't already, contact the dealer and have them tighten said bolts to ensure a good fit.

There's a procedure in the manual for initializing the sunroof. I'd give that a shot before going to the dealer.

There is another thread (early on) where there were at least a couple people, Had rattling roofs when they were open. There were some loose bolts. They had to take the truck back to the dealer to get fixed.

I thought there was one regarding a leak, but can't remember right now, maybe I'm just thinking about the bolts.

This is why I never want a sunroof. I had an old 1987 Honda Accord with a sunroof when I lived in Puerto Rico. I had the hots for a girl I worked with and I took her out. When we were out there was a torrential downpour. After that we drove away I had to slam on the brakes because something ran in front of the car. At that point about half a gallon of water poured all over her shirt/head and I was completely dry.

I've noticed a very small number of drops of water inside of my sunroof after getting the Taco washed (twice now). I intend to ask the dealer to check it at the first oil change -- is that what you're seeing OP?

Mine don't leak a drop but after reading this, I am starting to freak out a little. Glad to hear there is a warning for open sunroof when you turn off the engine. I need to test that.

And this is why I wont buy a car with a sunroof. I work on them too much as it is on customer cars.

Why not?? Doesn't fit into what a truck should be for you? 99% of the sunroofs will never have issues…period.

I just picked up double cab over the weekend and Colorado got 4 inches of wet snow. Sunroof didn't leak. Check the rubber trim around the sunroof.

Mine would 'drop down' about 1/2" when I 1st got it. 1st trip to dealer and the said they forgot to initialize it. 2nd trip 4 bolts were loose. it's fixed now.

Also in a car wash with the heavy duty air blowers the wind from them pushes is down a very small amount while directly under the blower.

I got a little splash in a high pressure car wash the other day. Maybe 2 drops but it caught me off guard. I thought I left it open. I was in a heavy downpour on Monday and no leaks. I figure it's like any other window. With enough of a pressure blast they all leak. I'm not worried, that's what warranties are for.

I have noticed on my Rav that if I shut the sunroof while driving, I can hear air whistling. I have to shut the sunroof while I'm not moving to get a tight seal.
