I'm not sure how I feel about the new styling. I'll form an opinion next week when we have details.

I think I'm going to hang on to my 2005 a bit longer.

I would like to see pics of the new interior and more info on the new frame?

I give it a solid "meh". From behind it screams late 90's Dakota. Oh well. Wish I had a '13, but I'll settle for my '14 over this thing any day. (unless this thing has some SERIOUS running gear upgrades.)

I saw a sunroof that I could say I like. Maybe the rest will start to grow on you? Still want to hear more on drivetrains and the interior updates.

I like it, but would be hard to fit a front plate bumper to nicely with that grille.

Well, seems to me right now I hope my 2005 Tundra lasts a long time because that doesn't appear to be a good replacement.

I remember when the Colorado thread started and everyone hated the lower valence thing b/c it killed the ground clearance. Guess Toyota disagreed.

That thing better have a nice interior and power train. Hopefully a different color and trim will make it look better.

Did Toyota thing we'd forget what the Mitsubishi Raider looked like? It has the same damn tailights! Google it! Look!...but aside from that, it's a decent lookin truck.

Definitely evolutionary, and not revolutionary. I like the styling, and would probably prefer it over my 2013 (mainly for projector headlights), but I am certainly don't have any remorse. Powertrain details, like a vastly improved 6-cyl might make me want one more than anything.

Also looking at this, I am not sure how you'd mount a plate bumper without having the trim the fender flare, or trim and retain part of the bumper cover like you have to do with the ARB.

I'll be keeping my '14 for awhile. Last truck I had I kept for 13 years.

I could sum up my feelings on it thusly: I don't dislike it. They did choose to rep the right color, though... just saying.:D

It looks like a tweaked out 2nd gen. That would be acceptable if the 2nd gen wasn't already 15 years old. Definitely won't be mistaken for anything but a Tacoma. I hate the grill. The tailgate isn't much better. I hope they killed it with upgrades 'cause to me it just looks like another Tacoma with a fugly grill.

    I did spot a lockable tailgate.:locked:

Maybe I'll just trade mine in.:p

Yeah, that valance won't be appealing for offroaders.

Also, looking at the pics, it looks from the front pics like the front porch was extended, then the side pic it looks like it has the typical short front porch the Tacoma has always had.
