Yeah, you need the 04A61 files, the software won't even let you apply the wrong version of the tune.

 

Are you dongle-less? Did you get tsb after getting tune? I think you have the wrong file for some reason, it should match your ECU.

 

Can anyone help this computer idiot? I am considering going and getting a laptop today so I can use this dongle tune kit bought. My laptop I had is dead in the water. Which of these would be better?

Bummer that the MT files are ready but Mat isn’t going to send them out cause he doesn’t want the backlash from the AT folk.

MT is an easier tune. The AT is complex. Why give him sh8t if he releases the MT file first.

 

Specs are nearly identical except the HP one has double the hard drive space. I'd go with the HP.

 

I finally got it to flash. I unplugged the cable from the tactrix unit and plugged it back in. The is is now showing 04A60 though.

 

So it should do everything I need it to, to load the tune via the dongle?

 

You'll need to flash back to 04A61 since we weren't aware you did the TSB

 

Agreed. 2 usb ports are important, both are adequate.

 

Laptop MUST have at least 1 USB 2.0 port

 

And then some,the only requirement is a windows operating system.

ETA and the usb port as previously mentioned.

 

Looks like only the HP has one. Guess my choice is made!

 

Several of us have bought the RCA Cambio. Only costs 100 and works perfectly.

So is 04A60 post TSB? I checked the info I sent to get 1.04 in October and I'm on 04A60, but I was SURE I didn't have the TSB due to what I've been reading on here for months, so now I'm even more confused than usual...

Edit: Just wanting to be sure I've got everything done on my side, don't want to clog up the flow with more "HELP!!!" emails to OVTune

 

That’s pre TSB; it’s what I have.

 

I'm assuming with my luck that my files will be sent last. Mat, can you start sending from the last file you still need to send first

 

Trust me, you won't even be close to the last person who flashes with 1.05.

 

Nope, it's more accurate to say that about a specific M/T truck.

 

Once we get all the AT files done MT files will be a lot quicker. Much less of you guys.
