Ok, that's good, I thought I was being retarded or just stoned and was an operator error.
Haha, loving my OVTune, best mod that I have done to my truck!

Once the 1.05 roll-out is finished, you'll be able to request the gear lock functionality as a custom tune.

Wait, 1.05 isn't done yet? Holy $h1t!!!
I'm loving the 1.05 I just installed and now it may get better? :D
What you have done for these trucks is magnificent! When I drove my truck for the first time after loading 1.05 87 it truly felt like a completely different truck - in a good way.

The development and testing of 1.05 itself is finished, and it has been rolled out to a large number of ECUs. However, he's still working on the roll-out to several remaining ECUs -- primarily those with manual transmissions and 2019 vehicles. Each ECU version requires different code modifications for the 1.05 tune, so he can't just copy/paste all of the code for every ECU. He has to take his time to code/create each ECU build separately, and then also create both dongle and dongle-less versions of the tune files for each ECU.

Full list of ECUs still waiting for their versions of 1.05 (as of 00:00 EST on 3 January 2019):

    - 04B11

If 105 was flashed over a pre-TSB calibration, then going from 105 back to 103, or any other pre-TSB variant is an option.

If 105 was flashed over the TSB, 104R or any other post TSB variant, then going from 105 to 103 is not an option.

This is correct, however the comment by @TWTaco implied that the first scenario you described cannot be done, and that's just not true. Depends on if the TSB was applied.

    That's correct

That was exactly why I emailed Mat, to confirm I could go back to 1.03 if I wanted
to and why I never opted for the TSB. 1.03 has been great and I didn't want to
lose the chance of going back if 1.05 didn't suit me.

I had both the cold and 'sitting still' flux / surge idle issues after flashing 1.05. But yesterday afternoon (my 5th cold start, about 50 miles worth of driving), it miraculously had no idle issues at all, and I was paying close attention, I drove it for about 20 mins trying to detect any idle flux, and what the hell, it just cured itself. I drove again last night, still cured. Lovin' 1.05! But scared these trucks have a mind of their own.

I’m having a similar experience. Mine started out as a warm engine in park issue, then a cold engine in park, and is now like @lanmaster53 issue of fluctuating in drive. Going to give it a tank or two to figure out when it wants to act up before submitting a ticket.

Followed the thread. But I'm gonna go ahead and agree with this guy... (See screenshot attached).

It's been long established that it's kind of ridiculous to expect to gain big numbers just from a piece of pipe and an air filter. Those numbers are approaching the gains from the OVTune (a range of 50-75% of what @OVTune reported getting on 1.03 if I remember correctly), and so I'm gonna go ahead and say that 16hp/12tq didn't happen lol

all good man! I was seriously thinking about it.....until I emailed him and
decided I wanted the option. I'm only about 60 miles into 1.05 (w/ ect) and
so far so good for me. I won't really form an opinion on the new tune till I've
gone through at least a few tank fulls of 93.

Wish I could get 93! California only offers 91 or at least here in Socal. Cant wait for custom tunes, need calibration fix for larger tires and re geared. Want to add gear lock also

weird. here in va 93 is everywhere, 91 not so much but I've been on 93
since right after I bought it in 2015, these engines seem to like the higher octane.

Depends on the location is all. I grew up in CA, and don't remember ever seeing 93 anywhere. Or whenever I've returned to visit. Never seen 93 in Arizona or New Mexico, nor here in El Paso, TX. But if you start heading east toward San Antonio and Houston and Dallas, the 91oct disappears and gets replaced by 93 :notsure:
