    Here in Texas, today at Sam’s 93 - $2.14
Gas should continue to creep down per that Permian Basin find.

Yeah it was a bummer but still a dope truck regardless. And I’m sure I’ll get used to the +\- tiptronic style auto trans eventually.

Needed the 6ft bed to sleep in the back of from time to time. And the double cab is just better for fam needs.

Will you have a blog post describing the features of the handheld and what not coming soon? Ive been a tune customer for various tunes on various vehicles but have not had a handheld unit yet. Super stoked to see all of what it will be able to do.

    @OVTune

I've been running the stock tune because I don't like the low rpm/high load stumble, have you made any headway figuring out what is causing this? If so, have revised files been sent to others experiencing the same situation? I would like being able to run the tune again I did drop $770 on it..

After about four tanks on 1.05/93 final version, with no issues, flashed 1.05/87 original version. Had about 1/3 tank of 93 when filled up with 87 Shell gas. No issues after short 10 mile city/highway first drive. Initial impression is throttle response felt a little softer, could be my imagination, but not bad at all.

What's the current wait time on registration requests? Sent one in on 1/18.

Issues with 1.05 Release - yea... I got nothing. I received my update files during the day late last week. I was so excited that I packed up my stuff and flashed in the parking lot before driving the 40 miles home (insert your funniest comments here). I've been loving life ever since. The next morning even had a 2.5 hour commute set aside for me and I didn't even mind - well mostly didn't mind.

Thanks Matt, great job!!! Not that I had real trouble with 1.04, but 1.05 was well worth the wait.

    FYI - 2016 DCSB M/T ECU ID: 04B11 93 Octane File

Quick question on ECT functionality in 1.05. On Stock TSB w/ ECT enabled 6th gear is disabled by default, or at least that was my observation. However, while on 1.05 with ECT enabled, 6th gear is being used. I used S mode and it is indeed shifting into 6th when upshifting. No issues with it, just curious.

Ha. Sounds like I just didn't get to a high enough speed on Stock + ECT. Thanks man.

So I reflashed yesterday with 1.05 87 again.
    Numbers are looking great.
This morning had my commute divided into 2 trips. First one was cold engine start and drove 4 miles to gas station. Got 2 misfires during the startup. Used to get up to 13 on 1st mile of the same road.
2nd trip 15 miles - 2 misfires. One on startup, one during the freeway drive. Will see if start creeping up again.

usually 1-3 days or less. Double check your email please and submit a reply if you haven't received a reg key. I'm not seeing reg key requests out that far.

So I'm in a similar situation here in SoCal. At CostCo I get 91 for ~ 25 cents more than 89. Lets say I run it until my fuel light comes on (which I usually do 0_o), and for simplicity's sake I have to put an even 20 gallons in the tank. That's $5 more per tank. I drive quite a bit so I fill up 5-6 times a month. Thats $25-$30 extra per month, or $300-$360 per year, I pay to run better fuel in my truck. In your case it would be how much more you would pay to use the minimum OVT recommended octane, in your area, for the flash. Would that be worth it to you to have your truck run great, or how it should have run in the first place? It would be worth it for me, but you gotta answer that for yourself.

Ran the 93 tune for several tanks of gas now, and it's been great; however, 93 is right about $1 per gallon more where I live. At my current driving average, that would translate to just under $1000/yr compared to running 87. The truck definitely is more enjoyable to drive on the higher octane tune, but I'm not sure it's $10,000 more enjoyable (over the 10 years I'll likely own it). Will need at least one trip in the mountains after the 87 tune settles in to know for sure.
