Hello everyone, currently there is going to be a 2 day delay on orders going out.
Waiting on more cables and pretty bad weather.

Out of curiosity, do people on 87 or 93 experience the short 3-4 shift? I know it's that way intentionally, however I was wondering if a different octane tune may alleviate it?

have it on both 1.05 87 and 91. does not seem as pronounced on 87. Just use a little more skinny pedal and it becomes normal. Not a concern.

Yes, I had this as well. And whether intentional or not, it wasn't a characteristic I enjoyed. Stock holds 3rd and 4th longer under moderate acceleration for my truck specifically. Sure WOT the shift points are aggressive on 1.05, but I rarely WOT

I did try 87 and 93 and that shift point felt about the same. And skinny pedal all you like, I don't always need to be deep in the skinny pedal but I still want strong, smooth acceleration even under moderate throttle.

It is very telling to use the fusion app to monitor shifting . If one keeps the foot at the same position on takeoff , it shifts to 4th too early . If just upping the gas a touch AFTER getting to third , it will stay in 3rd longer before going to forth and be much better . No matter what , watching fusion , when it gets to 4th , it seems as if it goes right to 5th , but it is not and is still in fourth but feels like a slug unless more gas is applied again .
Hope this makes sense . For me it feels the same on the 87 or the 91 tune on my friends truck .
It is more pleasing to shift manualy with the Smode when one wants to shift to get up to speed .

For everyone who has provided feedback, thank you. I have taken all the feedback and made a list to personally go over and test with my R/D truck.
I'll be working on revising 1.05 for outstanding issues or quirks, along with gear lock release.

Haven't spoke much about what has been being worked on but will have more information in February.

Our manufacture for our dump tunes will have our new version ready in about a week. We made a change from the prototypes posted long ago, which I'll show you guys when they arrive.

I flashed my truck a few hours ago then drove 150 miles on the highway and down an oil lease road. All I can say is I am completely sold. My truck is now driving exactly how I want it to be.

Using the 87 tune on 87 gas.

*** I will be, generally, unavailable from the 30th until the 1rst**. So that I can take 3 days uninterrupted to test and correct various quirks, issues, etc from 1.05.

You nailed my experience. Same pedal pressure and it feels doggy when it hits 4th, but I know it's coming and can smoothly transition with a bit more pedal. I'm ok with this if it keeps it out of 4th on the highway.

@OVTune does this mean a re-release of 1.05 or a 1.05b will be made available to all of us with the various fixes you refer to above?

I'll have more info towards the end of the week.

I'll have limited availability until the end of the week to work on all of this.

    105 91 update

I did the Mojave trail last weekend. I would estimate over 500 pounds of stuff in the truck bed. I had to air up tires to 60 psi for the road trip to Laughlin.

Oxnard to Barstow- 12.6 mpg, driving fast to catch up to friends.

Barstow to Avi casino Laughlin- 17.8 mpg

In the second section I caught up to a friend towing a trailer. We did 65 for over 80 miles. I used cruise control ect on in S6. Cruise control worked awesome!

On the trail I ran 4H ect on s4 with trac and Vsc off. The truck ran great. The throttle is very predictable at speed and goes into deceleration when u let off the peddle. My only complaint would be a more aggressive ramp in of power from idle to 2500 rpm in first. All other gears and speeds are great. Truck just feels dead in that zone. 4:88 or 5:13 would help a lot here.

I used 4low three times and it worked great. Best of all is 105 works under water!

Mojave river crossing in Afton Canyon is a little deep. :mudding:
