I'm still running the base tune so my tip in is fine

 

Due to my own stupidity I finally just updated to 91 Performance on 04B04 last night... and after 12 miles to work this morning... HOLY CRAP!!

Basically I thought I had 04B03 on my truck - went to do the Techstream TSB flash and realized I was already 04B04 - hence my own stupidity...

Initial results are amazingly impressive. Ability to hold 5th and 6th up overpasses is better than ever before (which happens with every rev of the tune) and smoothness accelerating up to highway speeds is even better. I also don't have the "falling on your face" early shift to 4th that I had on the previous version of 1.05.

 

It seems the brand new 87performance tune is for the 2017 / 04B04 available or soon available. When can we expect this tune for the 2018 / 04B61 ?

 

To the guys ranting and raving about the search feature:

While you are correct and ideally everyone would use the search feature, your efforts will be futile and your anger will be pointless as soon as this thread moves to the next page. People will need to use the search feature to find your recommendation that people use the search feature.

This thread is what it is - an enormous pit of useful information and useless garbage that new people will need help to navigate.

 

I get what you're saying.... But help navigating = search bar. That is what it is there for. If we can introduce people to it and show them how it works, they will be that much more self sufficient. I don't think anyone here is opposed to helping people that really need it, but it would be nice if a little bit of effort was put in first.

Only if you run those dangling nutsack things from your hitch receiver

 

Don't forget the 4" wheel spacers.

 

On a real note, the TRD Pro can run 285's without rubbing. Something to do with the offset on the Pro wheels.
