I do see them in my Download folder on my computer but I am assuming I can only download ONE tune into the truck at a time, yes ?

Yes. The truck can only run one tune. Each flash overwrites the contents of the ECU

Yes. You overrode the base map as you said. But you didn't erase it from your computer (unless you went out of your way to do so). When you said erase, I think you were referring to your truck, whereas I interpreted it as referring to when you were in flash manager downloading your maps

Yes, yes.... exactly that. The three maps are all on my computer.
I was indeed referring to the process of downloading to the truck, essentially deleting one tune and replacing it with another on the ECU.

    Now tell me.....
Can I somewhere see what Tune is being run on the truck or "no" and that is why we don't worry about the dealer picking up the change.... (Flash Mgr maybe ?)

Excellent, thanks. I get that part now.

That and the part that they are 3 separate tunes and not ala carte.

(How the hell did I get this far down the line ?? o_O)

Got it.... A guy just has to have Faith and pay attention to what it feels like in the seat of his pants !

So far I am impressed again with more great strides from OVTune from when I signed onto this adventure !

I'm ashamed to say some days, Yes ! :goingcrazy:

Of course, I'm driving a truck.....

Ya got to learn to cut people some slack. We all don't have the same abilities and over the internet you might overlook another man's disabilities.... but the possibility has to be put into the equation before you blast off on someone. A little empathy goes a long way.

Idk. I only run 91. Last time I checked a few months back, 91 was 2.89/gal. Might have gone up a bit since then, since we're probably off of winter gas by now.

    You mean smiles per gallon?

My truck is pretty heavy. RTT, with full skid set, sliders, winch and front bumper. DCLB as well.

I used to get around 13mpg. Ran the truck through its paces today and I am getting about 16mpg.

I am running 4.88s with 255/85/16 tires with steel wheels.

Not bad at all! Im sure there is a little bit more room for improvement once the 4.88 tune and more time for the computer to learn.

So? Deal with it then. $3.20 ain't bad, and it doesn't change the fact that $0.30 extra per gallon for a full tank just isn't all that much. :notsure:

If you're going to use gas prices as a point of contention, you should've bought a prius

I put over $5/gallon gas in my truck last summer :notsure:

Prices vary across the country, that’s just the way it goes. Just like cost of living, every where is different.
