I use Bootcamp as well as some of the other OG dongle guys. Just turn the Windows defender off (all of it)

Ok, great. Was slightly concerned, but prepared to purchase another computer if needed.

I have read about Yotamasters. Personally, I'd just rather have them done by nitro to ensure everything is done right, but man that's a drive.

Works fine. I just disabled all the garbage and only use the computer for flashing.

@OVTune do you have a more clear pic of the big mouth dump pipes? The pic on the website has them covered in plastic.

You can give Hoopers rear end a call. Anthony is a smart guy over there, in Sylmar off 118 and 210.

I have 6 more pre-paid dealer services (i got con'd I know). If I install the big mouth down pipes, will they give me shit everytime I bring my truck in.

I brought my Sienna for service, and they wouldn't even drive my Sienna until I removed the Walmart floormats. They said it was too dangerous to drive the vehicle with aftermarket floormats.

Sounds like a case of a shitty dealer. I’d find a new one.

I disagree. I got a Gibson cutback and K amd N CAI. I got over 20 mpg for the first time ever afterwards and average about 1 mpg better. Could be wrong, but pretty sure they gave me a small boost.

I wish I could say the same. I drive very conservatively and hardly ever get on the gas. I try to maintain a steady speed on the freeway but it just insists to stay under 20mpg..

That totally seems feasible. I really like the Gibson. I have a Flowmaster and I believe it.

Sorry I should’ve clarified, but I meant more in terms of hp or real power

Well, 13 months and 12K miles into 1.04, I finally got back on track, caught up with umpteen thousand posts, and just flashed 1.05 93 Performance. Let it idle 10 min (I know, probably unnecessary), did not reset LV (some mixed opinions, but chose not to :crapstorm:), and took it for a quick 8 mile loop. My initial impressions, for what they're worth (hey, 8 miles, so not much!):

    1. Maybe a little sweeter, deeper exhaust note?
    2. Definitely a more responsive tip in but not overly twitchy or sensitive as some have reported. I quite like it!
    3. Noticeable increased low end grunt at take off through 35 mph.
    4. Smoother, quieter shifts, both up and down (almost buttery, and definitely more refined). I really like it!
    5. With a little gas, much more effortless to get up to highway speed (65) and held it better on very mildly rolling hills.
    6. With gentle acceleration, still upshifted too quickly, wanting to settle into 1100-1200 rpms and get to 5th (or 6th?) at 40-45 mph,
resulting in that bogged down feeling.
    7. Truck feels 1000 lbs lighter (except during the bog down mentioned above).

Completely stock '18 PRO AT (04A60), Undercover hard tonneau, 16K miles. I contemplated starting with 93 Base, as many seem to prefer the evenness of the base tune over performance, but I'll roll with it for 500-1000 miles, let it settle in (evolve?), and I'll report back with a more qualified "review". But overall initial impression is a cautiously optimistic !

May want to reset the ECU LV to make the most of the reflash

Doesn't this get reset when it's flashed? I don't see this step in the instructions but I may have missed it.

On page 9 of the flashing instructions it talks about the learning which can take 15 or 20 miles. I assume that this means it automatically happens.

Perhaps @OVTune can grace us with an official answer.

Had my ‘18 TRDOR go into limp mode and threw the brake override malfunction error this morning. Limped all the way back home and reflashed stock, let it run for a couple minutes then flashed back to 1.05.1 93 Base. Not sure what caused it because I for sure didn’t hit the brake and gas at the same time like I’ve read caused it. No issues so far. Definitely going to keep my laptop with me for a couple days just Incase. If anybody knows what might have caused it feel free to give me feedback. Thanks!
