I forget, but the last time I checked, there were a few different map options to flash. 1.05 is the obvious but I can't remember what the other 2 were. I think they were 1.05.1 and 2.0xxx. Can anyone help me identify the 2 other maps? What are they? I did a search both on the forums and OV's website with no mention of these other maps.

No. Your REG file is tied to your computer and VIN. So, you can reinstall FM at will. If needed, just double click on the REG file that you were sent to activate the Flash. The registry entry might not go away with the uninstall.

The only OVT support is through Zendesk.

    This:
    https://www.ovtuned.com/pages/flash-manager

And, the first post in this thread will guide you.

1.05.1 is only applicable if you have an AT with the stumble / stutter condition. Do not install it otherwise. 2.0 is not released yet.

You do have other options if you have the dongle (pre-Flash Manager). The old 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, 1.04R, 1.05BFO, and test tune files can be installed if they were emailed to you. If you came along after that, it is only 1.05 and 1.05.1.

Hey, can somebody answer this question for me. If I go from performance tune back to base. Should I be resetting the LV and AT values?

I think someone asked if they could leave them as is, and OVTune said it wasn’t recommended. Either way I probably would.

I think it might only be needed from 1.05 to 1.05.1

In my experience, I initially installed 1.05.1 base instead of performance by mistake and I did switch over after the learning period finished, and it felt better than ever before.

I went from 93P to 91B without doing any resets and everything was fine.

The only time you need to reset the Learned Values in the ECU is if you are having issues after a flash or had your throttle body cleaned/replaced. Otherwise you'll have to deal with your truck most likely running poorly for about 50-100 miles while it relearns everthing.

We have a new version of P5Flash built for anyone who experiences the 00002 error.
If you have this error submit a ticket to zendesk for a copy
