I believe that you will not be able to detect much if any more noise from your exhaust system by adding the dump tubes, catted or non. My reference is my WRX, just replaced my stock uppipe with a cattless one and any exhaust change, noise wise, is unnoticeable.

 

still probably very slight, until you change your stock exhaust to a full performance, catless and muffler, you're not gonna notice much change, noise wise.

I got a set of catless on order, for my off road use only truck. I missed out on the first 6 sets so I'm in the waiting que, as soon as I get mine and installed I let you know for sure what it sounds like if no kne else chimes in sooner.

 

I will be catless once mine arrive from the independence day sale. I have the URD Y pipe and a flowmaster dual outlet with a resonator in front of the muffler.

Is your WRX turbocharge because it does make a huge difference comparing to an NA motor.

 

dump tubes change the sound and volume depending on what your exhaust is. folks with a more or less baffled or resonated exhaust will get very different results. can't really generalize here unless comparing very similar exhaust systems.

 

i can't remember those details, this was i think over a year ago for me. maybe check URD's site before getting busy. good luck!

I have them installed. I also have had a 3" MBRP cat back installed for two years which is quite throaty and deep with a mild highway drone. The dump tubes added a little bit of volume and a touch more rumble, noticeable, yes, but nothing much though. A recording of my exhaust would only serve to showcase the MBRP. Performance wise, I do indeed like the dump tubes. Further detail when beta testing is over and done with 2.0.

 

i can't say because i had a shop do it with the re-route together.

 

Since Matt is taking care of his family, would anyone who got around the "Internal Error" issue be able to post up about how the rest of us might be able to do the same?

I'm sure there are a number of support tickets for this, and if it's a quick fix, we can get the info out so he doesn't have to deal with it.
