I am starting to get confused -

Just purchased the tune, received my key code, I am at the flash stage.

I keep hearing about a “dongle” - I assume the “dongle” is the OBII plug... but the someone says something like the “dongle” is for an older tune etc...

    Older tune?

I have 1.05 with what looks the option for EROM 2.0 X on my selections...and now I have an old tune because I think I am getting a OBII connecter called a dongle?

Someone please tell me if I am waiting for a box in the mail with a “dongle kit” or not...?

The tuning kits use to come with a little dongle (basically a small usb flash drive) for licensing, along with the tactrix cable (plugs into the OBDII). Newer kits just links the license to the PC, so no dongle, just the tactrix cable.

That’s what I am assuming should be what happens. When I get the kit it will have a odb plug in - and that’s the dongle.

The OBD II plug-in is not the dongle.

If you have a kit with the dongle, then you need a PC that has 2 USB ports...one for the Dongle (a small USB stick that contains the license key) and one for the the Tractrix cable (which goes to the OBD II plug).

The dongle kits are no longer sold. So if you bought your kit new within the last year or so, then it has no dongle. Just the OBD II plug and the Tractrix cable.

Unless you ordered over a year ago, you do NOT have a dongle kit. It's a discontinued version.

All regs, internal errors, etc sent over to our dev, will have fixes, keys, etc sent by email later today.

Just waiting on cable manufacture to get back into office and get us sorted. They took an extended 4th of July vacation..

Dump tubes ETA I'll have this week.
