Ok, so instead of all the other bullshit gumming up this thread, could you give some thoughts on 2.0 to hold us over for the people that are following the "OVTune thread" to actually learn about… yup, the OVTune development! Did you have 1.05 before? How does it compare? Is the shifting logic better with the custom logic? Has MPG gone up, down, backwards, forwards? Is there just a 2.0 or a 2.0 base and performance? If one or the other, which one are you on? Looking forward to trying it out.

Will 2.0 work with my Multicamo Black vinyl wrap or will I need to order dump tubes?

Testers are instructed to not share feedback. Remember, the test files are incomplete. So, comments will not reflect the final product. Just gives Mat an idea of what’s working and what still needs adjustment.

All software is technically “incomplete” all software available to the public is just beta software that was allowed to be released. I’ve been developing software professionally for over 20 years and this is my observation and opinion.

I believe you missed the point of my post. I was sharing one reason why commenting on a file that has the specific designation of “test” is something that the developer would want to avoid.

Ok I think this is getting out of hand.

to be absolutely clear. Nobody has to buy dump tubes to get 2.0 when it's released.

I think we will be making a course correction to how to deal with the 3rd gen from this point.
The expectation on products vs the reality of what happens we will consider for the future.
We will continue to do our best to provide timely service to everyone.
If you need to contact us, please use our zendesk. We will soon have a business line available to take calls for additional help.

I will not be available on the forum. Please do not PM me or ask here, I will not see it.

    I understood your pick t.
I think I understood your point but was just trying to say that as software development goes, “test” means it’s about to become production. It’s a production release candidate. No mean to offend my friend. We all just want the best tune we can get and that’s what it’s all about.

I think you are taking a few sour grapes on this forum a little too seriously. They do not represent all of us or even the majority of us.

I bought mine and I patiently waited for it to be delivered.

Please don’t change the way you have been approaching the third gen most seem to be very pleased

Please don't let the whiners dictate how you should run your business. I am an early adopter of your technology, and am very happy with your products and your business model. The huge majority of us are likewise happy......................... Frank

Unfortunately, there's been many "few sour grapes" and they definitely wear him down.

What a mess. If you like OVs products so much, maybe be patient with them so they can do their thing and continue to impress. Believe it or not, most people do better work faster when they are not being pestered all the time. If it was an easy task to do what this company does, there would be a few other companies doing it, or at the very least some shitty Chinese fake. But there isn’t even that. Goes to show some real work goes into the tunes. Your truck still operates so chill. It will be worth the wait because from what I read, it always is.

I agree - I am 100% happy with my 93 base tune. My truck drives flawlessly. You are doing more than a wonderful job Mat trying to cover all bases and make everyone happy. Please keep your chin up. :)
