It only happened to a couple of us. It has had no impact. Most think we screwed up by not turning the truck off. I know for a fact that I did. Either way, tune loaded and my truck is fine.

The Yokos are in the same price range, about $150 each.

That is some great mileage. With that kind of life, I don't have many other concerns beyond wet traction (straight and cornering) and a bit more offroad grip. Some more dry traction would be nice.

These Toyos remind me of my most hated bike tire: Pirelli Angel GT. The Angel ST was killer and I ran through three or four sets as well as a couple sets of Diablo Strada. The GT was horrible on wet tar snakes and paint. It wasn't until I swapped on PR4s that I realized I was slipping in wet corners all the time also. Not a good 10,000mi there! Although, these Toyos feel like they're getting worse over time, which the Angel GTs didn't. o_O

I’ll put it this way, I don’t know that I’ve ever broke them loose on anything that isn’t gravel or mud

What are power differences for a dedicated 91octane map vs the OLE map? Would we see more response or power from a dedicated map?

I didn't say as much, but I did increase the calculation to account for the tire size increase. :(

Turn that frown upside down brother! I've been testing the beta 04B31 since the end of July, about 2500 miles now. It is an amazing improvement and guaranteed worth the wait! With that said, it needs a few tweaks and we need to let Mat work that out. I guess these new ECU's have new personalities...
Best part is, Mat has remedied the brake override malfunction issue with late pro date trucks!

04B04 on updated 2.0 running 93 octane, stock gears, TRD CAI/Catback, OCF Sliders, and +1 tires on TRD SEMAs.

Mat got rid of the upshift bog when rolling out of corners. Heavy to wide open throttle shifting is well matched to engine power band. This truck rips! But I rarely have a need to drive like that. MPG is improved, got 23.5 mpg, corrected, on my afternoon commute.

Improvement areas... Still shifts to 5th and 6th early when accelerating with light/moderate throttle. Dead peddle in 6th when trying to accelerate with light/moderate throttle. Have to bury the pedal to get a downshift to 5th.

I also get a slight dead pedal in those conditions also except it’s not as bad at 6th gear at 70-75 on the highway. Only takes around half throttle to drop down to 4th at 45mph from 5th. Still seems like too much to me.

Sounds good. I was just confirming.

I hope you situation is like mine and 2.0 gives you some more MPGs and a lot of smiles/mi.
