Correct... no resets. Could that be causing the hesitation? I didnt reset because Mat didnt say to. There isnt a clear answer on whether to do that or not.

I reset both values and it just doesnt shift at redline when it's supposed to if you hold full throttle. No shift just slowly starts decelerating. I reflashed and idled and this time used ect and s mode 2nd gear only to 5000k rpm. 2 pulls and drove. Turned ect off. And still doesnt shift if you hold full throttle.

You should drive my truck with the 4.88’s. By the time you get to 50 I’m at 60. My aftermarket exhaust sounds stellar as well

Oh man, just did some pulls getting on the freeway...what a beast! Drives and shifts very nicely. Going from 1.05 to 2.0 has been quite pleasant for me so far. Granted I only have 20 or so miles on it but I’m enjoying it.

This probably goes without saying, but for anyone who is not up to speed on this, remember to always make pulls like this on an engine that is at full operating temp. Not just coolant temp, but engine oil temp in particular. Driving around for 5+minutes under moderate load should do the trick in summer temps.

Hmm, I may try resetting values on this one. Running with ECT and the truck feels like it’s lost it’s balls from the last version of 2.0. Shifts are about perfect but 5th isn’t enough to pull the hills on the highway and maintain speed like the last beta (i280/hwy 1 on the San Francisco peninsula for those familiar). Itching to flash back to the other 2.0 gearlock but I’ll give this one some more time to learn my 91 octane. Seems like it’s the same power as the last beta for everyone else though.
