Is it possible for those of us who have been using the P5 Flash kit and wanted to change to the hand held to do so? Just asking because I am on the road a good bit and do not always have my laptop with me. I’m sure this has been asked, but didn’t remember seeing it anywhere.

MPG is all over the place with this truck. With 70% city/30% highway use, my 2018 OR DCSB with 2.5" King lift + 17" wheels + 32's was getting 18-19 MPG on 1.05 87 base with ECT. I saw no appreciable increase in MPG running 1.05 91 base.

With even the slightest headwind I can't get the TC to lock. This one area has a consistent draft going one direction. On my way in, against the wind, I was getting 14.3 MPG average at 74mph. On my way out? 18.5 indicated. Only difference was 7-10mph winds and the ability for the TC to lock (or 6th gear, I didn't play around a lot to see which it was).

You have to give the tune a couple tanks to settle. It will get better and better as you put miles on it

I've ran 4000 miles on this already. I'm on 1.05.1.

This is literally going out, turning around and coming back. The windy section was about 75 miles long.

What ECU id? Get yourself on 2.0 beta if you can. It is MUCH better than 1.05 in terms of highway driving, or any driving for that matter.

I installed a brand new Napa Gold air filter today, and swear iti lost tons of low end power (firstf1/4 throttle). it's unlocking converter on small freeway rises, and requiring much more pedal than 1.05 or how 2.0 was driving before the filter.

going to swap the old filter back in today to see if it was the filter, or the tune, or?.. .

Yes...The difference in price from 87 to 91 here is $0.33/Gal, which makes the tank difference ~$6/Fill-up.

The handheld availability and labor day discount got me to pull the trigger too.
Curious though, the handheld is listed at $699 (and their website news tab implies the tune is included/pre-loaded)
And just the flash tune (requiring PC laptop), is also $699

Surprised the price was the same with additional hardware included.

Handheld hardware cost on one end, Tactrix on the other. I wouldn't be surprised if the Tactrix cost Mat about the same as a handheld does. Whatever the case a significant hardware cost is associated with both, which is likely what reflects the cost associated with each.

Are any dongle users getting a handheld? I like the idea of having the smaller easy to use handheld with me in the truck for easy tune changes whenever needed but the cost is a lot to shell out unless its just that much better then having to lug around the laptop! Any thoughts dongle user's?
