ECT on or off isn’t a big deal to me personally because I don’t use ECT, 2.0 does a pretty good job with the gears. I’m exited for GL potentially not on 91. Lol

 

That was the last communication on the plans from Mat. Plans change but we'll know soon enough.

 

I am suddenly having a strange problem with flash manager this morning. When I first opened it, it was the 1.3 version. I looked through several of the tool bar options since I haven't messed with it in a while just to refresh my memory. I selected update to see if I was on the most current. At some point all of my drop boxes became unpopulated and it is now on 1.0.4. If I click update it just says "complete" but is still 1.0.4.

I turned off firewall and antivirus, but same results. Anyone have any idea what's going on??

 

The software version is 1.0.4.
The config version is 1.3.0
Go to Help/About and see what it says.

 

It actually shows a blank after config version. Only software version is listed.

 

OK - been out of the loop for a while...can't seem to find the answer to this: if I wanted to run 19770 (or the upcoming 19800), how would I go about it? I have a 2018 AT w/ 04A61. The "Tune Version" in the Flash Manager shows "2.0.X.EROM" but nothing to download. Are those only available for a different ECU or is there another way to get them?

Hey guys, Is there anyway to update my ECU from 04A60 to 04A61 so I can run either the current Beta tunes or final 2.0 tunes when they drop? It identifies as an 04A60.
I Received my plug yesterday and flashed 1.05 for the time being and finally have a grasp of how this entire thing works. I've been reading through the thread and alot of it was not setting in yet as I hadn't been up to speed.
If not I know Mat is really close to dropping Beta tunes for the A4A60 and can wait patiently

You can either do it yourself with Techstream, ask the dealer to do it, or have one of the guys listed below that have offered to help. This may not be a complete list... it’s just the one I found.

I've been struggling trying to get TS onto my laptop with Win 10. I'll continue to pursue that as I'm very interested with changing a few other things while I'm in there. Just gotta figure out my hold there.

 

I am considering uninstalling FM and reinstalling. Does anyone have any other ideas about getting the config version back. I have no idea why it disappeared or how to get it back.

 

Did you already click "install all software" and then update? If so, uninstall and start over again. Make sure virus scanners are off and you may have to whitelist the program files after installation and turning VS back on.

 

Try config > purge local data
Then
Config > update all software
