The 2020 is basically Entune 3.0 and power seats. So I guess I'll be waiting to see what happens in 2021 or 2022

Still can't believe they didn't do SOMETHING with the shift tables, but whatever. I didn't think or worry about the tune anymore with 1.05 no do I with 2.0

Now they’re programmed to behave like an automatic... which sometimes can behave like a manual. Go figure. :notsure:

we have a 2019 corolla hatch with toyotas new CVT that is designed to simulate shifts like a normal automatic. The most jerky, odd, pseudo shifts you could imagine in M mode. but normal driving it's not bad.

Gotta nuke them from space. It is the only way to be sure.

Manual mode is the only acceptable mode. The indecision on take off is just baffling though.

flashed back to 04B04 87 performance 0944 tune (4.88's) today after driving 19800 for two tanks. 19800 averaged 21.75 mpg combined. 19800 was fine but not as good as 0944 IMO. I simply like the tip-in and performance of 0944 which averaged 21.5 mpg combined. Now it is the waiting game for the final 2.0 to see how it sacks up. Hoping it delivers beyond 0944 in all categories, but if not 0944 meets the expectation and need. Thanks Mat!

16' Auto with Handheld dongle. Just read the stock ECU file. Turned ignition off for a full minute. Now I am not able to to read or write under the tuning option, both are greyed out. From everything I have read I thought these at LEAST came pre loaded with 1.05 but if not then 2.0 before hand so we would not have to do further work. A true plug and play solution and the point of buying a handheld dongle to begin with.

Awaiting Matt's reply via email now.

i was just reading over the instructions today for my accessory handheld, I think this will help since it sounds like you haven’t tuned yet...

“Follow the prompts to READ YOUR STOCK ECU DATA. THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 20-30 MINUTES ON SOME VEHICLES.
Once it has completed, follow the prompts on the handheld which will tell you it has completed and you can turn the vehicle off.
This section is complete. Next you will need to send us the stock data from the handheld so we can generate a tune package for you. This step requires using the manager and updater software. (these steps are the same that you would use to download new map updates from us as they come out, or any of our beta or test maps)”
