So your inventory is good now to fill and ship all orders received before 12/15/19?
Will Registry Files requested before 12/15/19 be sent before the holiday shutdown too?

The registry file is sent very quick. Just email him the info requested in the instruction video and you’ll get it most likely that day or the next business day. Then just sit and wait for the physical part to come in. I ordered mine the last day of the Black Friday sale before he added some time to the sale and haven’t received a shipping confirmation yet. It’ll happen eventually though.

personally I get more excited seeing my kids open stuff than anything I get anymore. But my years seem to add up quicker all the time!

 

I asked the dealer to upgrade me from 04A60 to 04A61 by applying TSB T-SB-0062-18. This TSB fixes the stumble at high altitude.

Just say you took a camping trip to the mountains and the stumbled occurred. That is what I did. They may give you lips service about how they have to verify the issue, but in order for them to perform the verification, they'll have to get the truck to altitude. Mine gave me a little lip, until I asked how they were going to reproduce the stumble.

Print the TSB out and take it in to the dealer and start using 2.0 04A61

 

I updated mine myself (worth it just for the latest beta, it makes that much of a difference). Once everything is installed it was probably as easy, if not easier, than flashing OVTune. The hardest part was finding the links to the tab files and the techstream software.

Alientech has everything they need for 2018+ ecus now and the update should be here any day now.
Ignore their press release, because thats for the 1.5mb ecus. 2.0mb is 99% done. They have read, checksum, security access, etc. they are just working on the software update now.

In re to the handhelds 18+, will we recieve notification when it is ready? I think this would alleve alot of anxiety to know we will be notified, I know I personally try to update the device everyday.

 

I'm sure he will notify everyone so he doesn't have to keep seeing the question everyday.

Hello and Happy Friday all! I was hoping if someone could guide me into the right direction, my mind has been blanking out. What is the latest Toyota TSB that will update the ecu to 04b04? It was recommended by Matt to update the ecu if possible with the Toyota tune prior to using his and I cant figure out which revision I need to get. Are there multiple ones out that yield the 04b04 update or do they all get superseded to the newest version from Toyota? Thanks in advance!

 

What updates are available depends what ecu Rev you are on now. Do you know?
