contact Mat via the Zend desk and ask him what he needs as evidence - and what the cost will be for the license. Likely if you have the dongle he will request it back and convert to non-dongle.

Thanks, tracking shows it arriving tomorrow so I'll reach out then.
Is the dongle exchange a thing? I hadn't seen that mentioned before.

OV 93 tune, TRD pro intake, LED headlights, LED interior lights, tuffskinz interior overlays "RCF", tailgate inlay, Illuminated kickplates, blue interior compartment inlays. Painted voodoo blue interior trim, nitto ridge grapplers, bara 1 inch spacers, redline pro hood struts, trd oil and radiator caps.
It only does it in one gear. Every other gear goes all the way to redline at WOT no issue. So it's not a fuel problem. At least in my case.

Thanks, I think your response is why I am asking the question in general ha :)

For the Beta (vs the other releases) there was simply octane versions or lack of all the custom gear/exhaust tune files it seems. I suppose an easier way to ask is...if you have not done ANY aftermarket updates to exhaust gearing etc than the beta tune you want is now the "stock exhaust tune", correct?

Not that I mind but it seems like a logical way, if I am assuming correctly above, is to simply name the files something more generic eg, 'basic/general 2.0 91 octane tune' as the word stock in it seems to through me/others off. Probably tiny things to bring up I know and so long as I understand it great, but I have seen many times in threads where one is talking about true return to stock OEM config/tune and the next response is then responding but talking about the stock beta tune. ie, people in these threads seem to sometimes be on different pages when talking to each other.

I'm sorry if this has been answered already, I tried searching within the thread with the search tool but I get a TON of results for "rev limiter" and similar keywords.

Question: Does the tune fix the hard stall at rev limiter of the 3rd gen? In 2nd gen 4.0L trucks, you could rev out the truck and bounce it off the rev limiter when doing hooligan things. With the 3rd gen, as soon as you hit the rev limiter the truck completely cuts out/stalls. Hoping the tune changes that?

yes, just find the correct ECU for your truck, pick the octane you want to run and chose the corresponding "stock exhaust" tune.

Different topic here. I ordered the Flash Kit and I am waiting for a shipment notification.
I only ordered the Flash Kit for the additional performance and hopefully better mpg.
My 2018 TRD SPORT DCLB V6 AT is all stock. I am not experiencing any issues.
I recently updated from 04A60 to 04A61. Everything is still good and no issues.
My truck shifts like any other vehicle I have ever owned. Am I the only one?
This is my 8th Toyota Truck that I have owned over the last 25 years.

Went and got a tree this weekend. 04B04 4.88, 0944 beta tune and the trucks performed beautifully. Mpgs coming home were some of the best ever.

Looking forward to the final 4.88 tune, should be stellar. Thanks @OVTune

    G'day all,

Been following this thread for along time. Was about to buy but sold the 2011 TRD OR and purchased a 2018 TRD OR so back in the gonna buy category, but have a computer question. I'm a Win 7 guy and am dragg'en my feet going to Win 10. Having said that, my I5 VAIOl aptop is set up to dual boot, Win 7 and Win 10. There is a learning curve so this is a good set up for now, but can see the "writing on the wall".

The question is: Since both operating systems, Win 7 and Win 10, are on the same computer can I load the OV Tune software on both operating systems or an just limited to one or the other?

    Appreciate any comments
    Bob
