I'm at least a few thousand miles since the last flash. I flashed it in August because it seemed like it was driving like stock again. Then it started revving on it's own in October and so I reflashed it again in November. I'm not sure if it's tune related or something else, but I haven't made any modifications recently that should cause something like that.

There has been a few versions of the 1.05 87 octane. Which version? beta?

I have a Pro 6 with only the one 3.0 port. Never a problem for me.

I don't think it's the beta, but I have also had a hard time keeping up with all of the updates. I believe it's just the base 1.05 87 tune. I downloaded it in August and I reflashed that same tune in August and again in November. Thank you for the help btw!

I'm still running the 1.05_87 tune. I love it, although I will try 2.0 when it's official.

If you like how it drives just keep it for a while and see if the high revs fade, if not, then switch. Wish I could help more, but better advice would likely come from someone else. Also, side note...could be winter gas...just a guess

Make sure your AC is off, it can cause some pretty aggressive surges.

I like how it drives after the revving stops. It's less ideal when I'm trying to very slowly back out of my driveway and it tries to launch itself! I feel like if it wasn't tune related, the problem would exist more often than only after the initial start up. Winter gas could be a factor as I didn't have the tune this time last year.

Sounds like you may be using a higher tip-in version. I don't recall one being available in 87 octane except for 4.88 gears, but I could be wrong

I'd typically share the same mentality... but shit happens. I even worry that a dealer/mechanic may feel inclined to add fuel and would add 87. The Lexus dealer has filled our tank in the past.

I think it is actually the 87 performance tune I'm running. I definitely didn't have these issues before the last few months though and I know I've used the same tune from day one in May 2019. I just downloaded it again in August to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

If you have defrost mode on or the floor/defrost mode, the AC will still cycle.

Now that I do have on almost all the time! I will do some testing without the defrost mode on the next few times I start the truck up and see how it does. Thank you to everyone for all of the help!

Switched back to 0944+87+4.88+gearlock from 19800 + 87+4.88 First drive into work this morning MPG's jumped up from 16.5 to 19.1 nice surprise! After twin turbos are released i hope to be able to maintain that 16.5 to 19.1 with them . I would expect it to drop below 16.5 because i will be heavy on the skinny pedal for a while!:mudding:
